FarCry 2, Healing

This is one awesome game. The graphics are INTENSE! This picture is taken on VERY HIGH settings. Not ULTRA HIGH (where u can literally see every fur on the sheep!), which my com will lag here and there. V.HIGH already makes it lag a bit but playable for me. The physics are super realistic.

Here's some examples:

You can get sick...yes...malaria.

With the flamethrower, you can literally burn anything in this harsh african landscape, even grasses on fire will spread!

When you're injured you can use first aid on yourself, in serious cases, you can even use a sharp object to remove the bullets from your wound or use some solution or hot substance to close up the wound, some of which can be a bit bloody, e.g. pulling a metal splint out of your exposed leg wound. Other first aid at critical health include, relocation of bones, putting out a fire on your shirt, etc..

I havent yet explored other means of first aid as Im not crazy enough to go round throwing grenades at myself or diving into a muddy pond filled with sharp objects underwater. lol.

Instead of reading from built in maps on the interface, the map is actually an object you can carry. So, when you take out the map, you use both hands. You cannot read the map and shoot at the same time. Thats what makes it realistic. Same with driving, although most cars have an inbuilt GPS, which has a REALLY small screen on your dashboard btw, its hard to see and drive at the same time.

Apart from the deafness of ears from loud explosions, when you sprint and become tired, your 'eyes' will squint and ull start seeing bright lights on your screen to simulate the real thing.

The lighting is awesome, in dark areas, you experience difficulty seeing, and objects look bright under the sun and they glare at you!


Ok, I managed to get an ULTRA HIGH quality screenshot of what I did to my house's backyard o.o Grass that are burnt remains brown or ashy. (Id rather stick to V.High though, its smoother and I wont have trouble aiming and shooting at running people LOL)

Btw, your weapons can rust/jam too so look out for them. Especially when they get dirty, yes, they can. lol.

At cutscenes where u fall or get injured, you see your character's hands in front of your screen, limping, holding on an object..crawling, grabbing your wrist in pain, etc. Other actions where u see your own hands are opening of doors and other interactions Ive not discovered yet.

The most fascinating thing about this game is the ability to sleep at your 'hideout's to recover. While ure sleeping, you can choose what time to wake up, allowing you to do your mission in the daytime or at night time, or even at the peak hour. Each scenario will differentiate according to the time.

E.g. in the weapon's shop, I went too early and the cashier isnt there yet. So I had to drive my way back and 'sleep' until noon or something.

If you have a really high end computer, this is the game for you. =)

On another note, thanks guys for your prayers and encouragements. Cus right after my fever, I had an eyelid infection on both eyes, PLUS...a throat infection that was so bad, you know the balloon thingy at the back of your mouth, near your throat? The thing dangling?

It was so swollen, when I breathed in and out I could feel it knocking against the back of my tongue! That was how big the swelling was. Swallowing food felt like swallowing that balloon thingy hanging from the top of my throat! o.o I was so scared it came off! Its literally so swollen it rested on the back of my tongue! Gosh!

But praise God.

Fever went down overnight.
Migraine went died off after 24hrs.
Throat infection gone after 24hrs.
Double eyelid infection gone overnight.

PTL! =)

Bed-ridden

As most of you know, Im bed-ridden at home.

Service was great, first of all, Dr John prophesied at service 4. =) Glad I went for it and caught something.

Here's my journey in bed:

1. Had fever of 38.6 degrees - Talk about having SARS o.o
2. Developed throat infection
3. Went service. (I was excited to make a special offering, I had already planned it for my breakthrough and wasnt gonna let anyone or anything come in the way)
4. Came home, developed headache - Some sharp pain in the head
5. Right eye swollen
6. Left eye swollen
7. Headache worsened - Now even when Im not moving, there would be sharp pains coming on and off every 3-5 seconds. Every minute I would wrench my teeth in pain and grab my head with my hands several times in pain...it was horrible and unbearable. And thats just one minute alone, I survived it for hours!
8. Fever subsided. The sudden drop in temp made me break out in cold sweat this morning.
9. Sharp pains in the head persisted, though not as severe.
10. Today is my first MC in a year.

Thanks to those who prayed and those who stirred me on. Every single word meant alot to me/ :) Even those who scolded me for not taking care of myself haha..I could really feel the love, really appreciate it, thanks.

I guess more than just what people do, its who they really are.

Yea, some people say I try too hard, or Im really stubborn, always pushing myself to the limit. Yes, thats the outside, but inside, Im someone who fights to the end, Im highly committed and perseverant. Im just limited by this body of mine, its like, the body is too weak to contain the spirit lol.

While man looks at the outward, God looks at the heart.

Even though that may be true, I wanna thank God for placing spiritual people around me. People who, in the likeness of God, dont just look at the outward but they see the heart. Im really encouraged by people like that..

When I hear of the financial testimonies in church, when I see how ps kong is committed to God and to people, it really provokes me to rise up. Pastor is so high up there, we cannot afford to be so far away. If we are going to have the DNA of city harvest, we better wake up, buck up, and start catching up and not get left behind.

Breakthrough doesnt come because you do the right thing.
Breakthrough only comes, when you become the right person.

Boyfriends and Men, Girlfriends and Women

In today's society, they say you become a man when you get attached. So you see the boyfriends sending their girl home, buying gifts for them, speaking encouraging words, etc.

But to God,

You become a man FIRST then you get attached.

You should be a responsible man right from the beginning. Even if its just a classmate, offer her a seat, offer to buy a drink, offer to carry her things, if its late at night ensures she goes back safely. You dont have to go up to her house, at least to her lift to make sure no one follows her in.

Especially if you're a girl and you're single, dont go: "Why send me home? You my boyfriend meh?"
The least you could do is talk nicely, have some feminity, and not look like an orang utan scratching your armpit.

If you're going to wait for a boyfriend FIRST, only then you open up to people who are there to exercise their manhood, then you'll just get what you want...a BOY friend. Someone who's immature, undecisive, uncommitted, impulsive and irresponsible. Of course if you dont trust the person, thats another issue. But if you know the person, then you seriously have a glitch in your feminity.

Often when people get together before developing their people skills, its often too late and hard. The pressures of commitment overwhelms them, not just the guys, but the girls as well.

They complain how they found the wrong guy or the wrong girl.

Relationships are never about finding the right person, its about BEing the right person!

There will never be a right person, or the perfect knight in shining armour, or the glamourous princess.

The purpose of being in a relationship in the first place is to build THAT relationship, that trust, openness and closeness. Not for you to only then, START developing yourself!

And women should be emotionally ready. She is the helper, the supporter of the man, very often, emotionally as guys tend to be more task-oriented.

Some women get into a relationship knowing the guy has some serious issues and yet for months and years they tolerate it. A relationship is for you to LOVE, not tolerate!

Learn to communicate. Learn to express yourself.
Shouting vulgarities just simply show your lack of vocabulary and creativity!

If you wanna develop tolerance, just join some stress/anger management classes!

Why follow a guy if you dont support his vision?

Just because you love someone, it doesnt mean you have to agree with his lifestyle.

How can you not feel how the other party is feeling? Yes, it also includes falling in love with someone when you're single. You know you like the person, yet after doing your best, the person has chosen someone else.

You see him/her happy beside their partner. If you truly loved the person, should you be feeling how he/she is feeling? Happy. Again..if its a wrong guy, thats a different story. But if he/she is a nice guy, whom your 'love' has chosen. Why are you depressed and the latter, happy?

It just shows that you're not connected in the first place.
You only feel YOUR feelings, not the other person's!

Its time to stop finding a BOYfriend or GIRLfriend,
Start finding a real man and a real woman!

Excessive Drinkers

People who drink excessively are prone to mood swings.
They are prone to poor memory, schizophrenia or alzheimer's disease when old.
They soon develop coordination problems and other physical impairment.

So where does the high come from?
When alcohol severs brain connections to 'free up space'.
As such, they feel high, free, and a 'floating' sensation.

Does alcohol make one forgets his/her problems? Yes.
By destroying brain connections.

Every piece of data, from knowing how to walk, instructions for the heart to pump blood, instructions for the digestive system, every form of instruction, changing light spectrums to images, changing vibrations to sound - Are in the form of connections where electrical signals are connected with one another.

Those connections could be emotions, thoughts, knowledge, control, creativity, etc.

And its proven that while most cells in our body regenerates, brain cells dont.
Our body replaces itself once every 10 years, simply be regenerating all the dead cells.

But our brain, we get to keep the same one, from birth to death.
Same with eyes, same with ears.

Damage to the brain is permanent.
Damage to the ear is permanent.
Damage to the eye is permanent.

Body resistance may weaken due to brain connections being severed.
Body may 'forget' how to fight simple diseases like cough and flu, etc
Body's regeneration rate may slow down, thus wrinkles appear early,
And ageing occurs faster and earlier.

People in their 20s may look in their 30s, people in the 30s may look like uncles or aunties.

Feeling your heart beat faster? That is not excitement. While it does create a sense of excitement since endorphins are released.

Its just simply an irregular heartbeat.
Forcing your heart to beat at a rate, your brain cant control.
Its like defying your brain's instructions.

There are people who die from irregular heartbeat.
Some simply by jogging.

Because the brain is forced NOT to control the heart,
It may end up severing connections to the heart totally.

So addicts feel they cant live without alcohol, because the brain decides to stop controlling your heart bit by bit and decides that you now control it yourself.

And recent reports in the newspapers states that most asians who flush red while drinking are signs of an impending oesophagal cancer.

Why do you feel a burning sensation? Its because its really burning, duh.
Also due to the irregular heartbeat pumping blood superfast.

A regular heartbeat pumps blood at about 16km/h.
That's 4m/sec. If a person is stabbed at the arteries, the blood will spurt out around there, 3-4metres.

An accelerated one could go beyond that.

Due to the small size of the blood vessel in millimetres, accelerated bloodrate may burst capillaries making blood flow into the tissues thus causing 'flushing'.

Though capillaries are replacable, making blood squirt all over your face on the inside is certainly something we dont wanna enjoy.

Tired, Frustrated, Stressed.

Not only Im stuck with a $18,000 debt for 12 years, my computer is one step closer to incurring maintenance cost and its not even one year. And if you know me, I dont like messy stuff, Im someone who rather get a new and clean comp than to live with an imperfect one.

Im quite perfectionistic.

Similarly, like my poly, Id rather flunk my assignment and redo from scratch, fresh, than to deal with problems and errors and all that crap. If something's in the way, I just get rid of it. Im not so free as to have the time to attend to this and that.

I looked after my laptop and it survived 6 years. Anyone's laptop survived longer than that? Tell me. I challenge you. This is the 7th year my laptop's running, and its malware free, virus free, trojan free, worm free.

Im committed to my things and Im committed to the people I know. I dont care if they have the same level of commitment as I am, Im doing everything for God. I dont have to please people.

Besides, I dont think anyone's pleased with me before. And I dont bother.

I still have to buy new clothes, and a new acoustic/electric guitar, its my goal for this year. My computer is really a blessing from God, I prayed for it for a year. Saved up for a year for it.

So far it already has problems with the screen and the video cable port. Signal problems, but recently, I stopped having those problems.

And not to mention the other time, some joker placed her PALM on my screen and pressed! Not the finger, the entire friggin palm! You think you're a palm tree farmer or something?

Accidents happen, I dont blame. But stupidity and selfishness is something I dont tolerate. I told her to stop it, not once, not twice, but 3 times, she still poked my screen.

How would you like if I took a knife and stabbed you, not once, not twice, but 3 times? Even if you cry out loud and bug for mercy? I can do it SMILING if you want. At least, Im trying to cheer you up while driving the knife into your belly!

Right now I can forget about getting married. My finances are too tight, EVEN though Im blessed. Why? Because of wrong company. Im gonna start filtering my friends soon. I have no problems cutting of friendships. Im used to having no friends, so losing one or two mean nothing to me.

Has anyone ever felt for me? No. Do I feel close to anyone, hmm, not at the moment.
I hardly even socialise, when I do, people arent there. Aww, too bad, so sad.
I did my best, but even my best isnt enough.

In manhood, so what if you have the intention of providing and protecting. If its not done, its not done, you still failed in your manhood even if you had the good intention. God is a good God, if He didnt send Jesus to die for us, whats the point in that?

Im glad He did and even if He didnt, I would still love Him.

Afterall, the being is more important than the doing.

Case #1: Fraudulent Debtor

Y approaches X (Victim) to borrow money. X agrees and transfers money to Y's account.
Y promised to return and that the money has been sent back to X's account.
It never happened. Victim wants to complain. Y cannot be contacted. But only left behind some details:

Case #2: Forgotten

One malay suspect. His name was Salmon Bin Something.

Case #3: Ah Lian

POs approached a group of teenagers quarrelling. After being advised they refused to cooperate. One 17 year old girl shouted, "See what see? F*** you la!" And was arrested on the spot for...Disorderly Behaviour. LOL.

Ops, Money, Ahgong

Ops was from 8pm-12am supposedly, but we ended at 4am. Joint ops with gurkha contingent, one squad of 50, and officers from the crime control unit in plainclothes..ambushed foreign workers' dorm near the forested area to comb vice activities - illegal gambling, illegal immigrants, illegal prostitution.

Total arrested 36..mostly PRCs, very few banglas, 8 foreign women and 1 local (for trespassing and gambling..i think)

Just bringing them back and registering them and then escorting them to the lockup alone took 2-3hrs. It was biiiiggg.

On another note..

I have to pay $125 every month for 12yrs to clear my poly sch fees which apparently taken from my parents' cpf. So, thats 18k. But I believe Ill have more than 25k in less than 6 years!

Haha not bad eh, I roughly know now how much it will take to raise a kid. Plus all the expenses, probably at least 50k per child. Then for your wedding ceremony/dinner/etc alone, at least 10k per person. Then adding on to your future expenses. Its safe to say, you need at least 100k to have a decent married life.

My ahgong's pulse has dropped to 10-20bpm. Anytime now...

God has been good. My ahgong is the strongest. Fighting cancer since the day I enlisted. He's a champion. Here I am, complaining about every single day of my life. And God Himself has been faithful, even when we were faithless. Containing every cancer, coming against every infirmity.

Sometimes we see God as the saviour so much, we hardly see God as our hero.

Im happy for him, to be able to see God soon and be in his mansion in heaven. He's worth it. After all he's gone through, he deserves the best.

The Vastness of God

Im home.

I was literally singing while walking back. Singing when Im opening the door, singing when Im inside the house. Nobody's home anyway, I could sing my heart out to God. Hahaha, Im just so excited to be alone with Him.

I was sitting and eating my packet cai fan.

And a phrase came to mind:

"Everything happens for a purpose." or "God has a purpose in all things".

I began looking at the food Im eating. I began to ponder. Is there a purpose why Im eating rice and not noodles? Is there a purpose why Im eating 'x' amount of cabbage and not 'y'? Is there a reason why there's xxxxxxxxx amount of rice in my packet?

Amazingly, the answer is crystal clear, yes.

We eat 'x' amount of rice, so that 'y-x' can be left for 'k' number of people, and with the concept of time, 'a' number of rice fields can be cultivated and harvested. Soon, you begin to see the big picture, all the rice fields in the world. Their exact numbers, everything just flows in place so that mankind have enough food! Isnt it just so amazing!

Its not about over-reacting, its about becoming more aware of God.

How many of you actually think about Him the whole day?
Yet He thinks about us for the whole of eternity.

He even knows the number of hairs on our heads. The millions, billions and trillions of hair..in just ONE person. Now multiply that memory by 8-10 billion. And now, since God knows how many atoms are there in just one object, multiply that with infinity no. of objects...then add onto the previous equation.

And that my friends, is just earth alone. Now multiply with zillions of stars, and then multiply again with billions of galaxies, then multiply again with millions of clusters...there is...no end.

The numbers are vast, to our simple human minds, its infinity. Infinity upon infunity.

Now think about it, in God's memory alone. You have that vast amount of information, and everyone knows, we store our emotions in our minds as well. Now imagine, God's love in infinity, His faith in infinity, His joy in infinity...that's the God we serve.

Compared to Him, we are just so small and insignificant. That may be how some of you feel today, but when Infinity begins to live inside of you, you shouldnt feel so weary, you should EXPLODE!

Explode that creativity!
Explode that love!
Explode that faith!

Faith that will change an entire generation!
Creativity that will leave behind a legacy!
Love that will win millions!

Giving everything but your best, giving up halfway,
Doubt and unbelief is an insult to God.

With Infinity living inside of us,
how can we afford to be mediocre?

With Infinity living inside of us,
how can we afford to stay in our comfort zone?

Funny Bottle + Updates + Video

This cute little 'bottle' was found at 7 eleven LOL. Apple juice with aloe vera, pretty nice if you ask me. But design wise...man, I dont know if its creative or just weird. HAHAHA. I mean, just look at the shape manz!

If I held the bottle in my hand, stood in front of the condoms section and pose with a smile, I think the poster can sell for millions of bucks man hahahaha..kidding.

Btw, Im back from night jog with seowshi. Must be careful, next time end up become BMT. =/ Walking on stones..man..maahhh foot!!! And she's a habitual runner so I gotta buck up lol..REALLY buck up. When Im like resting she's like, going from station to station at the fitness area and chionging. O.O Then later wanna run somemore..whoaaaaa :x

Anyway, just something interesting about my work desk at station. Its a relationship. As the bride, I have to learn to be supportive and submissive.
Yet loving and faithful.

But really, relationship with God in a way is already a one-way thing, cus His love is already perfect, mine isnt. Relationship with guys or girls is different, its 2-way, requires more effort and commitment. Because both are imperfect.

Its amazing how all my mistakes came together to form a masterpiece. Failing my year 3 and doing an extra sem, delaying my ns, being left behind, slower than most of my friends, in a totally new environment with new people..all these things seemed ugly. But even when Jesus was at His ugliest on the cross, He was still the most beautiful person.

Its like the short video on TV about "little imperfections that make things perfect"..its so moving and the common grace of God is so evident. We all have our imperfections, but its these little things that makes us perfect in the eyes of God.

"There is a halfday on the eve of public holidays...but not today". This was the kind of message I received yesterday (The day before Good Friday) when I asked why there wasnt any halfday.

Not bad eh, what an intellectual question. Even Einstein and the makers of the english dictionary could never comprehend.

I mean, like what man..its like saying, "Ohhhh, I need to pee. Ill go to the toilet, but I wont be going to the toilet to pee.."

Or...

"Hmm, I need to bathe, but not without clothes." Yea, like you wanna bathe with your clothes on, so creative eh? Wash urself and ur clothes at the same time, kill two birds with one stone. WOW! Soooo amazinggg! o.o

Like come on man, WAKE UP!
That was the most ridiculous statement Ive ever come across.
Besides, nothing in life is never ridiculous in the first place. o.o yea.

On another note..

How excited are you when a friend calls you or smses you? Well, for one, Im someone who really treasure my friends alot so Im very eager and excited to reply them lol, especially if they're close to me.

And so last night, I forgot to turn off my alarm on my handphone. So in the middle of the night it rang! Waking up and still in a state of semi-consciousness, I saw an sms from Wyelin and I went to reply her....yes, in my dozing off state.

I ended up closing my eyes, but my fingers were still typing,
And I typed something like:

"Dietinvii ou macmu they are doing it e.o lol"

!!O.O!!

This shows I have automatic, instinctive accountability wahaha!

That even though my body is weak, but my spirit is willing, sub-consciously, my mind is controlling my hands, like an automatic reaction. Wahaha.

How passionate are you towards people?

This week's gonna be fast..Mon-Wed, then thurs half-day, cus its e day before a public holiday. Thinking whether to get half-day leave the following monday, so I have a more relaxed weekend. Hmm, what do u guys think?

I love mummy's salted egg cucumber soup and I just tried the new Strawberry-Raspberry yoghurt. Yummy! Pink in all its sweetness! haha.

For people who wants to know my tiring schedule..

LCD fixed. Revelations.

My LCD..apparently, the digital cable/port has problems. So I decided to do something stupid. Since my LCD has 3 video ports, one digital, one standard video port, and one HDMI port, I left the digital cable plugged in, and used the normal cable. So now, it has 2 cables instead of 1. Wow. It worked LOL. Yeah, 2 is better than 1 hahaha. What a joke.

God talks to me most when Im alone, when there's nothing and no one in my mind, He has all the space He has. And since, Im always alone most of the time, so...its safe to say He speaks to me almost all the time! HAHAHA. No, it wasnt meant to be a lame joke, it makes sense right?

A few things popped into my mind and Ill just pen...no, I mean...keyboard it down. ;)

I was really inspired by Adam's testimony, the power of words framing your world, the law of sowing and reaping, the principle of tithing. I mean, to receive a phonecall the moment you give an offering, INSTANTANEOUSLY, and to receive another phonecall the moment you declare: Even though I dont get the job, you're still a miracle working God - INSTANTANEOUSLY again...is just WOW.

I mean, just how many times have you sown and you've gotten instant results? Not even me man. It was a awesome testimony.

Sometimes you can be so busy doing things FOR God,
You fail to realize that you're no longer WITH Him.

He has moved in another direction, as a result, you feel heavy, burdened and stressed.

There are times God speaks through a still small voice.
For me, LOTS of times.
But there are also times God speaks through people, even the most 'impossible' ones.

Sometimes we forget that EVERY individual is sent by God.
And each person carries a story. Carries something you can catch.
Thats when teachability comes in. You can learn from anyone, even the despised.

You say, how is it possible?
You cant believe it. That's why itll never happen to you.

At the end of the day, God is going to evaluate every single reaction you had...
With people He has placed in your life. Did you serve them? Did you care for them?
Did you honor them? Simple things like helping to carry stuff, lending money, listening,
Communicating, etc.

And on 'that day', everyone will see, on HQ/HD, WIDESCREEN, your whole life.
Things you have done, things you have failed to do.

You know the quote that says, "As you have done it to the least of these, you did it to Me"?

Here's another way to see it:

"As you have not done it to the most of these, your leaders,
You very much didnt bother at all."

The little things we do, to people who are not as fortunate as us, we did it to Him.
That's the least we could do.

When we honor people in authority, the prize is greater. True?
Thus, when we despise authority, leadership and men/women of God,
Thus, the 'penalty' is greater.

People like your cgcs, your cgls, ministry leaders, your PARENTS, etc.

Its very easy to stand for God, whom we cannot see.
But most find it hard to stand by the man God has chosen, whom we can see.

How can God move if you dont give Him room to move?

As Singaporeans, we can be so busy.

Its like you opening your house door for Jesus, you say
"Hi! Welcome Lord! Let me prepare you a meal!"

And you spent 2 hours in the kitchen,
While Jesus spends 2 hours sitting there in the living room, eventually, before you could finish cooking, He leaves, sad.

You come out of the kitchen, you dont see Jesus around, you get upset. "Where did He go? Didnt He know I spent so much time to prepare this meal for Him?"

You begin to ask Him, "Lord, why did You leave? I did so much for You...DONT YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IVE SACRIFICED?"

And He replies,

"Dear, all I wanted was to come in, to sit beside you, to talk to you and ask you out for a meal. But before I even had the chance to say anything, you went and did your own thing. You didnt ask Me what I wanted, nor how I felt, you left me there to wait for you. I waited for hours. More than your cooking, all I wanted...was you...and you alone...all...of you...my love."

Dont leave God at your door, dont leave God sitting alone in your heart, seeing you grow your connect group, seeing you plan your outreaches, seeing you win the lost, start a new business and when all is said and done, He's not even close to you.

God didnt send people for you to use, neither are they there for you to serve. Yes, all these things come naturally. But at the end of the day, God wants you to enjoy people. To enjoy fellowship, to treasure relationship.

Christianity is not a religion, its a relationship, an experiential relationship.
Its something you have to experience it for yourself.

Whats the point in believing in something or someone when you dont even feel anything.
Whats the point of going after a vision that has no substance?

Step out of your comfort zone. Start to engage!

Fantastic CG

CG meeting was nothing short of phenomenal.

Just being there, back to the basics, the presence of God...lights off, worship, prayer...the fire in the place, glory of God so strong you can hardly stand or kneel properly, for me at least. Prostrate was the way to go...

I remembered with tears in my eyes, that we are just ordinary people, with an extraordinary God, big dreams and destiny...who are we, that God would do so much through us? But thats just how great His love is..

Standing next to the prime minister and see him walk past me was already a great opportunity for someone without any rank like me. Yesterday, I escorted the superintendent of police, my deputy divisional commander to his car.

Yet again, im just a nobody, or at least, just someone ordinary. Yet God has placed me with 'kings' and 'leaders', people of authority.

And we're not talking about principals, or MPs...we're talking abt the PM here, Supt, etc.

Always remember the secret place.

If you feel you're getting tired of serving and loving God, then its time for you to really come back to God. Dont get caught of with all the DOings and forget about the BEings.

This week's morning PM was great, even though I missed the first day and forgot to chop the 3rd day. But it was great, nonetheless.

On the darker note..

My LCD stopped receiving signal from my CPU =( I dont know if its my graphic card or the port. Ive tried swopping cables, still doesnt work, I even used different sides of the cable.

Anyone can troubleshoot hardware problems? :s

Night Case

I just attended to a case of "Feet stepped on glass, whole floor got blood". And it was one of my friends. :( Okay, Im not on duty, but a friend called up and she was alone at home when it happened. It hurts whenever your friend cries for help and it seems you're the only one who could do it...

So I rushed off my house to her place on foot for 15mins, buying a really huge apple aloe vera along the way, cus I heard glucose and sugar helps replace lost blood. They give you those sweet drinks during blood donation right or food with iron? I think...

Thank God her mum reached before I did. My friend was plastered up. But the floor was a 'puddle'. =( puddle of blood. Can you imagine, the blood of your own friend, feels as if its your own. :x

Poured a cup of juice for her and her mum as well. Stayed awhile, then left not too long ago. Walked back. o.o 5-6 bus stops...

But its okay, I was glad to be of help, even if it meant going all the way. I mean, wouldnt you do the same?

The sad thing was she called her cg no one picked up, either they were busy or asleep, unlike me, the cannot-sleep-early policeman. Eventually she managed to get hold of a few of her cg members.

I can imagine how its like...blood flowing out of you like water, you're in pain, there's a hole in ur feet and when you call on the ones who were supposed to be there for you, only to realise NONE answered. =(

Not that they're bad friends but sometimes things happen and you cant NOT feel for the person. I was telling adelene some other day that to be like God was to be omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent. At least, to me that was a conviction.

Now what does it mean? Not literally. But somewhat there.

Omnipresent - always available, always willing
Omniscient - spiritually and emotionally sensitive
Omnipotent - creative, dependent on the Holy Spirit

You become who you follow.

Everyone knows that. But how hard are you trying?
