STRESSSS even though exam left 2 papers...

my IHP proposal and TOR havent done yet, and its like 2 weeks overdue. very irritating, IHP is in SEMESTER FIVE! now havent even finished with sem4 exams and 2 weeks before it does mus submit those kind of documents, 5-10 pages tt kind, mebbe even more.

how to study? T_T already my C programming is at failing point and i have to worry abt my IHP and if thats not enough, i still have frens-conn to take care of. which occurs in e middle of my exams and ironically the start of my 20 weeks of IHP too, which ironically again, doesnt start until -2 weeks later...which means...yea, theres totally no logic....talk about reasonable expectations...*faint

also, currently im trying to get a new accoustic guit frm bao's fren, and at e same time, quickly finish my guitar lessons cus cg is in need of a new cgguit. which is VERY SOON! but at least its something i enjoy doing, but rushing something tt u enjoy might jus end up being sth else on ur shoulders. =x

if dats not bad enough, i have no break for the next 20-25 weeks. yeah! so exciting! so many things...no time, no reasonable expectataions and no break. now i really wish someone could clone me or something...now i know with God all things are possible, and im still holding on to tt promise. but currently my situation is as if Jesus had to be born and crucified on e same day, or u have to retire the day you start work...

i love pressure, pressure moulds me...but this isnt pressure that mould, but pressure tt deforms and breaks. and its beginning to affect my mood seriously...jus now i couldnt take it any longer esp when ure doing ur best to study hard and at e same time please Daddy God and someone close to you has to INSIST that ure doing something else, other than wad ure supposed to do.

yes, i blew jus now. and it wasnt nice. in fact, nothings nice at the moment. other than the love of God. i jus feel like stopping wadever im doing and start over...i dont like messed up situations. instead of wasting time and energy to improve and try to sort things out, im those kind who would prefer to start off clean and new...and tt leads me to not being able to study well..it just keeps getting messier...

right now e only thing tt excites me is tmr's BS. cant wait for it. this afternoon went to JP with tony, man it seems like ages since we last met. had a good time with him...man, we shld get together one of these days for a gaming party or something lols...

tmr is SA paper at 9am, hope i dun wake up late and blow everything again...and hope i dun feel nauseous again, which i always do whenever i wake up early...T_T

OUR HIGH CALLING

-phi 3:7-14
-often when we think abt calling, we think about the activities involved. -> dont think too much abt the activities, we are not called to only DO things, but actually to BE SOMEBODY!
-dont miss your high calling

1) We are called to be like Jesus

-when ppl look at us, they shldnt see us, but they shld see Jesus.

2) We are called to live with Jesus Christ for Eternity in Eternity

-have the right perspective! -> perspective = to be able to see from a point of view.
-have long-range perspectives when making decisions.
-have e perspective of eternity.
-perspective is vision, to have a vision is to see.

3) We are called to bear fruit

-our life is a preparation ground for eternity.
-we are saved, we are being saved, and we will be saved.
-salvation = redemption -> sanctification -> glorification
-give your problems and failures to God and He will make something beautiful out of ashes. its not about what you have, but about whose hands it's in!

-we have to SEE Jesus for who He is. -> when we SEE Him we will have hunger + thirst + desire and a longing for more of Him, more passion to live for Him and to serve Him.
-be heavenly-minded! dont focus on circumstances, focus on revelation!
-God embeds thoughts, visions, dreams, Word into your heart. -> that is you! that is your life!

-dont worry about closed doors, Jesus had no problems walking through closed doors ;)
-dont worry about your calling, jus prepare for it and it will prepare you.
-something needs to be BIRTHED in you.
-we are bigger on the inside than on the outside.

MANIFESTATION SERVICE

no doubt this was e best service for me. well, in e morning, when i reached expo. i started having pains in my stomach. mebbe it was bcos im hungry and thus gastric or mebbe it was something i ate. i went to the toilet, but nothing came out. its really nice of quincy and eugene to pray for me as i sat there on the seats waiting for e svc to start. =) thanks bros! :))

well, praise God the pain did go away. then it came back in the form of nauseousness THROUGHOUT the entire service, i was jus holding myself from puking. it was soo uncomfortable, cant say i blame eugene or quincy for not praying enough, u guys did a good job. in fact, God DID answer your prayers instantly! hahaahhas, wad did u guys pray for?

that e pain would go away and tt ill LAST throughout the entire service! ahah! lols. so after e pain went away, there was something else, hahahahas which was worse, but God is so precise and so specific, He helped me last throughout e service! lol, so in other words, what u guys prayed, God answered. hahaha

ive learnt a VERY IMPORTANT lesson. God is SERIOUS with what you pray, and how much you'll receive is dependent on how detailed and how specific your prayer must be! whoa! LOL.
honestly, i find it a bit 'guai-lan' (say take away e pain but nv say other forms of discomfort LOL) ..hahaha but i like God for being who He is. =p

after e service i still struggled a bit and it was nice of junsen to go to hall8 recep and get e dunno-wad pills for me. i felt better. but as i was travelling home on e train, it came back lol. and i was so tired i was abt to doze off, but i couldnt, each time i dozed off i would 'almost-vomit' then i would wake up...very irritating...T_T

well, thanks to a few sisters who made me a part of them...thankiews verii much! hahahahas =p im the first pregnant man! and junsen's vibration plus quincy's book on the theroy of vibration! whhoooaaaa! it stired everyone up and i was so 'traumatized'...hahahahas and so i was struggling for most of my journey home...lols so much pregnancy, so much vibration! lols...waaaaahs. x)

btw, towards e end of e service was awesome. the Holy Spirit fell on the entire place! people were touched to tears, i was in tears and trembling and there was even deliverance that happened. it was an awesome time, i jus fell in love with God all over again. everytime i saw Jesus giving me a hug, tears would jus flow down my eyes...the God of the Universe, hugging a sinful, imperfect being and saying i love you...its e most beautiful picture x)

its a GOD encounter that ill never forget...^^

KNOWING JESUS

-the christian life is not always about preaching the gospel, but its about PERFORMING the POWER of the gospel.
-mt 9:35
-when you read Jesus, you've got to go INTO Jesus.
-we are the body of Christ -> we are supposed to do what He did, "and even greater things..."

-what did Jesus do? the body should be doing. He PREACHED, He TEACHED, and He HEALED the sick (including deliverance, etc.). He didnt teach/preach without healing. everywhere Jesus went, He healed. NO...He DID NOT pray for the sick, He HEALED the sick.
-dont just pray for the sick, HEAL them with the name of Jesus!

-teaching is to explain, but preaching is to PROCLAIM!
-we cannot decide who Jesus is or which aspect of Jesus we like and throw away the rest.
-dont live a selective christian life. its not about the denominational Jesus or which denomination ure from, but its about believing in the BIBLICAL Jesus.

-minimizing Jesus in a sin in the church. you limit the Holy One.
-Mk 6 - "could not" -> you can either turn Him on or turn Him off.
-scriptures are there to GROW on you.
-mt 4:23-24
-Healing is based on COMPASSION

-when Jesus was crucified and resurrected, He carried the perfect sacrifice/blood to Heaven and God was pleased. and God told Jesus to sit at His right hand and anointed His head with oil without measure such that on the day of Pentecost, the oil flowed to the body which is His church. -> we have the anointing the Jesus carried to fulfill our calling and purpose.

-mt 8:16, mt 10:5-8
-we dont need rational thinking, teaching materials, etc..to heal/deliver, we have the name of Jesus!
-stop identifying yourself with yourself, start identifying yourself with Jesus.
-the gospel is the POWER of God. -> when your anointing tank is empty, refill it! pray in the spirit and ask for more of His anointing in your life!

-healing/deliverance is not about reputation/fame, but its about COMPASSION!
-dont go by what you feel, go by what God says, go by OBEDIENCE.

-how can Jesus be at the right hand of God and yet at the same time WALK on the earth? what does it mean when He says He understands EVERYTHING that we go through when some of it are not mentioned in the bible/He did not experience in the desert/His earthly ministry?

Answer: THROUGH US! the body where He dwells in!

1) Healing is CENTRAL
-healing is also the gospel, the ministry and outreach of Jesus.

2) Healing is NEEDED
- 1 cor 12 -> you dont need to be a pastor to heal, we ARE His body, His hands, His mouth, His instruments! Here it mentioned the GIFTS of HEALINGS (plural!)
-all you need is the HEART (Jesus) + MOUTH (gospel) + HAND (anointing) to move in healing.

3) Healing is SCRIPTURAL
-healing is commanded
-healing is supernatural
-healing is foundational -> it's BASIC!

IMPARTATION SERVICE

service was great. the sermon was kinda deep at e beginning, but after svc, me and quincy discussed and reflected on the preaching and we shared revelations and yea, we learnt a lot from each other and knew more about the Word. thats what fellowship should be like, fellowship is about friends, but more than that, its about Jesus.

remembered ps kong once said, when we fellowship, we should NEVER leave Jesus out. how would you feel if during your birthday, all your friends at your house are having fun with one another and no one even greets u or even talks/notices you?

towards e end of the service, i felt so touched, so convicted. and ps ulf imparted the healing anointing in everyone of the congregation that night. and we all received it by faith. now faith without works is dead. dont just be a hearer, be a doer. what shld we do when someone is sick?

the bible is very brief and very clear, lay hands on them and pray for healing and they will be well. ;) that night was really an encounter..despite the 3hour 15-20min service. but every moment, it was a GOD-moment ^^

TIMES AND SEASONS

acts 1:6-7, ecc 3:1
-knowing the seasons doesnt mean we sit back and assume everything's pre-planned for us.
-> we are supposed to occupy/do business till He comes. (faith w/o works is dead)
-Success and blessings come when you understand the seasons of God.
-> what is true for the natural is also true for the spiritual. (whatever is seen is made of the unseen, etc.)

-everything that happens in your life, occur at a particular season of your life.
-seasons come and go.
-seasons change; have a limited time frame

-dont resist change, dont chase seasons that have passed, dont try to stop the season, but FLOW with it and you will see the fruition and manifestation of your seeds of visions and dreams! -> have an attitude of EXPECTANCY and FAITH; CATCH HOLD of the season.

-God reveals more of Himself through the seasons.
-Be at the RIGHT PLACE at the RIGHT TIME with the RIGHT PEOPLE doing the RIGHT THING! -> dont sit on e premises waiting for the promises, step out and flow!
-Timing is everything -> timing is the understanding of the seasons.
-The seasons are the plan of God

-season + fruition = manifestation
-seasons impose changes on you and forces you to make decisions that will result in a change in you, your lifestyle, etc.

-PREPARE for every season.
-When you flow with in the right season, there will be e peace of God. theres no anxiety, fear, etc. u know you are there for a purpose and that God is on your side even though He may seem far away.

-Zech 10:1 -> "...in the time..." -> everything has its time and seasons.
-"grass'' = maturity/strength

James 5:7, rev 2
-the former rain occured during pentecost (when the first few churches were started and the gospel sent into the gentile world).
-why did the Holy Spirit stop Paul from entering into Asia and redirecting him to Europe? God said now is not the time/season.

PROPHETIC SERVICE

ps ulf prophesized just now. Asia is reserved for the end-times, for the LATTER RAIN of the Holy Spirit and revival. now is the time and the season of the latter rain. indeed we have been sowing the past few years, and havent gained much, it is the dry season. even when we had experienced salvations and church growth, its only at a minimum.

indeed we have not seen anything yet...the dry season is ending and soon lightning and thunder will pierce through the sky, and the windows of heaven will split open and pour out the latter rain of revival. we just keep sowing and sooner or later, when the rain of the Holy Spirit comes, every seed that we've sown will sprout forth and it will be harvest time!

all around malaysia, indonesia and now even china and taiwan is opening up, its time to rise up and start sowing into these good ground and when the rain comes, nations will come to the Lord ;) it will be beyond anything we can ever imagine with our human mind, what God is doing in these last days.

ps ulf also re-emphasized on his previous prophecy on heavenly music blending with earth, and out of the church will birth forth new songs that will melt a hardened generation and bring healing to many.

while he was prophesying, there was a sudden move of songs of worship and everyone was jus flowing, singing and worshipping God in tongues as we were praying, it was like fire on e day of pentecost, i stood there eveloped in e presence of God in tears, and ps ulf prophesized that when e time comes for heavenly music to blend with e earth, he saw a vision of a weapon sack pouring down weapons upon the church, the impossible/supernatural will be easy to accomplish with the help of the Holy Spirit. weapons of healing, of deliverance of moving in supernatural gifts, etc.

indeed, we ARE the endtime generation! =) it is the season for abundant life. it will be the best time ever, and our best year yet. we are gonna cross 30000 by e power of God! ;) it will a good seasonal change of us all as a church, but it will be e devil's worse season! yeah! lols. what can he do to shut e nations? it is by e blood of Jesus that we can now cross over to the other side protected because we are IN the body of Christ ;)

last year at e indoor stadium ps ulf also prophesized on a bigger place, and here we are, 7000 seater Expo Hall 8! =) lets continue sowing, for in due SEASON, we will reap if we do not lose heart. lets prepare for the latter rain of God! x)

BS was great! learnt abt the Holy Spirit. here are just some notes (too many to type, u want full details then sign up for Foundation Truth 2 class or enrol in bible sch =p) :

BRIEF NOTES

-We consist of Body, Soul (Mind, Will, Emotion), Spirit.
-We are not human beings having a spiritual experience,
-We are SPIRITUAL beings mastering the human experience.

-> You wont feel so dull, bored and stressed when you understand that truth, despite what you are going through.
-Its not about what you experience in the natural, but how your spirit reacts to them!

-Our body is our flesh -> condemned -> we will have a new body
-Our body reacts to our soul in the natural realm.
-Our spirit was dead when we entered the world, due to sin. -> that is why we need new birth!

New birth -> Our spirit-man is renewed and restored

-"Where the Spirit is, there is liberty" -> The Holy Spirit is omnipresent, how is it then there's no liberty on earth? -> The Holy Spirit MUST be LORD by us having a continuous yielding to the Spirit's control in every area of our personality and every department of our life.

-Why is backsliding dangerous? Every level you go up, the tougher the challenges/'devils' in your life. And when you backslide, you turn around, even with the armor of God, yet your BACK is facing the 'bigger challenges', (back = unprotected)...the devil will stab you in the back where you are the weakest!

KNOWING THE PERSON OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

-The Holy Spirit is a PERSON.

-The Holy Spirit is the PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE of the Trinity on earth. -> manifestation of God's omniscience and omnipresence.

-All the WEALTH and BLESSINGS of the Trinity come only through the Holy Spirit. -> He is the KEEPER of the storehouse.

-Everything that the Holy Spirit does GLORIFIES Jesus. -> The moment we stop glorifying Jesus, the Holy Spirit would immediately withdraw.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN OUR LIVES

-The Holy Spirit BIRTHS us into God's Kingdom -> The zoe life of God

-The Holy Spirit MATURES us into spiritual sonship -> 'Son' in greek is the word huios, which is a mature, grown-up son, not a babe in christ. One who is responsible and in control of his life. One who knows how to act and one who moves in authority. One who is completely developed or completely living for the Lord.

-> One who comes to a level where you can no longer backslide.

JESUS DEPENDED TOTALLY ON THE HOLY SPIRIT

-Jesus ATTRACTED the Holy Spirit to Him.
->Jesus = lamb, Holy Spirit - dove
->Holy Spirit (dove) came upon Jesus (lamb) and REMAINED on Him.
Lamb = purity + meekness + sacrifice -> you must have all the attributes.

-Jesus depended on the ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit.
->There is a 'God-in-Action' in every level of humanity.

-Jesus depended on the Holy Spirit even after His RESURRECTION (even in His new body).
->The Holy Spirit is looking for people with the lamb nature.

LATEST NEWS!

i jus received reports from pastor meng during BS jus now that there was a newspaper article this week, mon/tue/wed, that featured the Tamil Tigers and Sri Lanka discussing peace talks! That was exactly what we prayed for on our combined church prayer meeting on sunday! Praise God!!!

Though i was serving, yet i had the time to connect with God and pray! We spent around 2 hours plus praying in the Spirit. and we bound every spirit of disorder, chaos, conflict, etc...and we just fought the devil like mad. i remember as i was praying for the peace in Sri Lanka, tears were flowing down my eyes.

and if God could take our prayers and turn an entire nation around, i believe we can see our entire nation saved! and im so excited for this wk's service with Ps Ulf, im gonna attend all of em! ^^ And lets come with our hearts prepared, lets come with a spirit of expectancy and indeed, this week's service is gonna be prophetic and ps ulf is gonna lay hands on different people and bring our church to a whole new level! =)

We shouldnt be struggling with relationships, with stress, with finances, with faith...all these are BASICS! we should be going on to perfection, fulfilling our purpose and destiny, impacting nations and changing the world! Lets rise up to a whole new level!

What a weekend!

satuday service was great. after svc we all went to bedok int to makan. hahaha crapped a lot, watched the 'kids' play with their food :x played 'who-what-ha?' when eugene suddenly triggered the panic btn, and of course, i followed in shortly after hahahas...

before that decided to eat in expo, but since at tt time, quincy already left with tim to bedok on his bike, only left me, eugene and junsen. so we decided to take bus to bedok. guess what, we got off at the wrong station and happily walked into e stn and crossed the road before realising what a dark, ulu, grass field next to tanah merah stn! hahahahas :o

so wad we do? we took the MRT ONE stop to bedok LOL. had fried kway tiao, very sedap..hahahas. thanks joshua for the sugar cane drinks! =) really appreciate it bro. x)

woke up kind late today, although its super early in e morning LOL but still managed to reach on time, took a cab and rushed down to expo. served in conference area today, and i ended up taking sound level reading from 850-1250, 4 hours straight with every 10min interval i have to do a DB level check, so have to stand. halfway ate nasi lemak at sound container area.

then during prayer meeting served at front of house! doing speakers, during PnW went around to check if e sound level is okay, then after worship i stayed at e console area, and the presence of God was so great, as i knelt down there i was in tears...God said, 'you can do it, i believe in you, i will cheer you on!" no doubt im going throug many things right now...i shall list them..

1) celgrp guitarist training -> have to muster asap, cg needs a guitarist
2) get a new guitar -> as above
3) frens connection -> yea chiong chiong chiong ^^
4) ministry breakthrough
5) exams and i have to brush up on 2 failing modules..TWO!

6) FYP -> TOR and proposal submission deadline over and i still cant think of anything that is not 'simple'...what they want man? lol..nv tell me expectations, nv tell me how to do, what to do, everything come up with myself then they jus choose to approve or disapprove...

7) losing weight and building up myself! -> one more year..!!! lets hope it doesnt become 2 more years...T.T

7 is a complete number. complete madness it seems, lol. its humanly impossible to achieve all of those time-contraint goals!!! with man its impossible, but with God ALL things are possible! im excited for fri, sat and sun, going all 3 svces! ps ulf is coming! yeah! prophetic service this weekend, and hes gonna lay hands on diff ppl.

e last time he came i attended 6 svces and got laid hands upon for 3 times! :)) he was e one who prophesized our crossover, our church growth, even the expo building, each time he comes, our church moves on to the next level! =)

went for guitar lesson with bao jus now...small hands small hands! lol..really need to work on strumming and technique..and must learn to flow!!!! like seth..lol of course seth is learning faster than me so yea, i wont compare hahas....

im so excited for taiwan. china is opening up!!! and we will be having a Taiwan Emerge Conference in their indoor stadium! so exciting, wish i could afford e tix and all..:S indeed, i can sense in my heart and spirit...revival is coming! ^_^

GETTING ALONG WITH PEOPLE

1) COMMUNICATION is the key of life.
-relationship ceases when communication ceases.
-we have 2 ears and 1 mouth -> be slow to speak, dont interrupt; dont let someone say 1 line and u say hundreds of lines!
-speak in sentences, not paragraphs!
-communication starts when you LISTEN.

2) Be INTERESTED in people in their world.
-dont always talk about yourself, what u accomplish/aim to accomplish and dont always talk abt things u like or are interested in!
-get interested in the lives of others.

3) Make people feel IMPORTANT.
-there's always something you can learn from someone.

4) SMILE when you meet people.
-this is the most basic, most obvious key to a good healthy relationship.
-when u frown u only attract e devil and nobody will want to be with you.

5) ENCOURAGE people.
-encourage = en + courage = to put in courage into people's faith bottle.

6) Be LONGSUFFERING.
-patience is the key.
-when you face a problem, the more you want it to end, the more longer itll last. -> e more u are patient with it, the faster itll end.
-learn to fellowship with other people despite their background, looks, etc.

-dont assume the worst, assume the BEST!
-give people room to make mistakes/fail -> no one is perfect. if they dun fail, they'll nv learn and succeed.
-give them room -> many dont excel because they are afraid to make mistakes / because the people around them have unreasonable expectations.

7) RESPECT people.
-respect their titles, respect all fathers!
-dont be late! -> dont overstay, dont cross, dont overstep the booundaries and become overly familiar.

8) ESTEEM others better than yourself.
-its not about you, its about the person, make him/her feel accepted, valued, appreciated, loved, etc...

9) Use PEOPLE's NAMEs more than usual.
-give people recognition, make them feel they are important or they have done something.

10) Be COMPLIMENTARY of people.
-praise is extravagant -> dont give measured praise!!!

Bible study...encounter with God

still havent been able to come up with a project outline...T_T

bible study was great. i went alone, while pam and bao went for e earlier one. and its ok for me, cus ps meng is just a great preacher and i want to be able to absorb the Word, to be transformed and to move on to the next level. sometimes uve got to know WHY you are there for.

someone people go to bible study for the sake of getting the cert. some go bcos they are signed up by their cgls, some go because of friends, some go because they just wanna get it over with, some go with the wrong attidude, some go with the wrong priority and in their mind they are thinking of something else, they are not focused....sounds like someone you know?

but im glad i didnt go for all that, but i went to encounter God for myself and to be changed, discipled and renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit and by the Word. and indeed, today after the lesson had ended and we went into worship...and as we waited for God to show up, indeed He will answer to those who call Him.

as we were worshipping, though cramped as we may be, yet we did not focus on our neighbours, but the class focused on God. and God came. many teared, some were trembling, some were on their knees and a few even FELL UNDER THE GLORY of the presence of God. this is what worship is, deep calling unto the deep...no one's in a hurry, but everyone was hungry.

ps meng told us a couple of times, that in our QT, if we are hungry and yielding enough to the Holy Spirit, we can lay hands on ourselves and pray and we will be able to fall under the power of God. and it is POSSIBLE to be taken up to Heaven for a short trip before coming back, ps meng has shared a lot of testimonies. but its one thing to have faith, its one thing be inspired, but i wanna experience it for myself!

during the worship, God spoke to me abt my situation, and the Holy Spirit has encouraged me that He's doing something with my life. and i believe that im not going to sit and wait any longer, im gonna go all out and tear down every stronghold in my life!!! i will cast every mountain into the sea by the Word of Faith!!! and God told me that i could break this heaviness upon me in my life.

i remembered how Jesus was asleep when He and the disciples were in the boat travelling through the storm. you cant expect God to feed you all the time, faith without works is DEAD! sometimes He expects you to be able to calm your own storms, so rebuke it in the name of Jesus and all will be still...

problems, leave me...and Jesus, fill me!!!

just when i thought the 3 wks of OOP assignment was tough enough, here comes the IHP reminder letter for me to submit my TOR last friday 5pm which i totally forgot abt it cus of my business with my OOP assignment, walkthrough and other tests.

and so, the panic sets in, the stress sets in...and i begin to lose myself again. was talking to a fren online and she was kinda encouraging, and so i decided to email my supervisor if i could extend the TOR submission by two weeks...and guess what...he DID extend e dateline, BUT...to this friday? ahhhhh, and im supposed to submit my project outline by today.

thats where e problem comes in...if time is not a problem enough, i have to come up with my own project, get him to approve then submit my project outline...=.= *faint really faint...feel so helpless...dunno wad to do, how to do...my brain is just frozen...

and im e only one i know around doing IHP...so practically i got no one around to seek help from. other than my supervisor whom ive not even met before, cus suddenly change supervisor on monday. *dots *arrgh, feel like screaming!

just when everything is perfect, things become the worse of the worst. furthermore, my C programming is on the rocks. ive been failing literally every C test. on monday was my PM test, it was an open book, but i dun have e bk cus it was too expensive and feel its a waste of time and money. so went to sch and printed e notes and brought into e exam hall. but i forgotten to print one chapter!!! arrgh, got 5 qns, 2b and 2c couldnt do, tink lost 1x marks..mebbe even 2x.

but e rest i could do. right now i have no mood to aim for an A for PM...with my PM assignment having enough complications like a prideful teacher not receiving the file and think that we dont care abt e asssignment and stuffs..thus marking us down...all i want now is to pass my PM T_T

if i fail 1 more module, then ill have to extend my poly life which i dun want! i wanna complete my NS and go on to uni/work! and get ready for the next building fund....*sobs im aiming to give $5000, then hopefully $10000 for my subsequent BFs down e road...arrrrgghhhhh....

right now i couldnt be bothered abt anything more than my C programming...ahhhhhhhhh, then in sem6 ill be taking CSP and a yr3 module! wooot after this sem i have no break, straight away start with IHP. yea IHP...sem 5....submit TOR....this friday.....wad is the world coming to man.

and so how did i spend my valentines'? with Jesus, with my laptop, and with my programming codes and TOR notes. *scream. however there's 2 things i wanna thank God for:

first of all my parents bought me an Ericsson k700i out of e blue. and thank God for my System Analysis CA..i got a B+...

service was great. praise n worship was great too. the sermon was great. everything's great ^^ keke.. during PnW i was overwhelmed in tears with the glory of God. its been awhile since i last went right into the holy of holies. ;) i had encountered the God of the universe. =)

so here's the sermon notes:

luk 10:1-3, 5-7, 9
-we are sent as lambs among wolves -> when we have the lamb nature, the dove (HS) will come upon us.
-relational evangelism the Jesus way:
1) Bless the lost
2) Fellowship with the lost
3) Meet practical needs -> find a need and meet it, find a hurt and heal it
4) Share the gospel

-in e church world today, many have rearranged the order and did it the other way round! e.g. going round with plaque cards in orchard road, door to door, street 'evangelism', the 'repent or die' method, etc...

-people dont care how much you know until they know how much you care.
-evangelism is NOT selling a product!
-Jhn 4:35, 39-42 -> "Lift up your eyes..."

1) Lift up your eyes from your OWN NEEDS.

-the golden rule is : do unto others what you would want them to do to you.
-but God's rule (eph 6:8) says: do unto others what you want GOD to do for you. e.g. abraham waited decades to have a child, he'd been praying for barren women and they conceived, in due time, God returned the favor.
-meet someone's needs and God will meet your needs.

2) Lift up your eyes to GOD.

-its not about you, it's about God.

3) Lift up your eyes and look at people DIFFERENTLY.

-a 'soul' in original hebrew 'a person with great potential'. -> look at people they way God will view them, as HIS creation, as HIS masterpiece, created in His likeness and image, with His divine creativity, ability and productivity.
-luk 5:1-5

Lets take a look at Peter the fisherman, before he got saved. -> The unchurched are :
i) Uninterested in spiritual things.
ii) More interested/preoccupied with their own lives.

But Jesus:
i) Stepped into Peter's boat -> step from your own world and penetrate into the other person's world. get interested in his/her life. -> Jesus didnt bring Peter to church, He brought the church to Peter.
ii) Stayed for awhile -> dont just get interested in other ppl's lives, stay around and fellowship with them.

"Cast down your NETS!" -> But Peter had unbelief ("we toiled all night but caught nothing, yet at Your word i will lay down my NET" -> Notes: Jesus said NETS, Peter laid down ONE NET!" -> but because of obedience, he caught so much fish that the net was beginning to break...when he cast it into DEEP WATER! (not the shallow end!)

What is are your nets? -> your celgrp relationship network, ministry network, church network
-> its both horizontal AND vertical!

The deep sea have caves, hot springs, volcanoes, in fact, the longest mountain range is underwater! -> its a world within a world.

The DEEP SEA speaks of the world and above, the Kingdom of God. -> In the DEEP SEA its dark, its lonely, it has PRESSURE. And the deeper you go into the world, the more strange 'fish' you encounter.

1. Funkyfish/Pufferfish - strange ppl that look strange and behave strange

2. Lion Fish - beautiful + cute -> poison when touched

3. Viperfish - no pigment; u see through them ("trust me, im so transparent")-> when u least expect it, they pigment comes back and bite you.

4. Gulper eel - rotatable head (180 degrees); when u follow them -> turn aroundand bite you. -> can eat fish 5 times its size + when nothing to eat, eat theirown kind (backstabbers).

5. Giant grenadier fish - smellist fish; feed on dead things. ppl who feed on gossips and slanders. e moment they open their mouth, there is the 'odour' of gossips.

6. Tube worms + Vent crabs -> vent crabs, without pressure will die.-> workaholics; people who are caught up with the stress and busy-ness of the world.

7. Great white sharks -> champion stalkers. they ramp u under and knock u off before biting to pieces!

- let down ur cg nets!-> facts vs truth. -> The facts are: we have caught nothing, we are tired, etc..but the TRUTH IS: obedience is better than sacrifice!
- let Jesus be e captain of ur boat!
-The church is a boat.

ppl tink church is a :

1) love boat -> all lovey dovey, no commitment!

2) submarine - very deep. (theology that even God doesnt know about) -> once in awhile pop out -> analyse + criticise then go back down do their own things.
-> disinterested in the world around them.

3) floating hongkong restaurant.-> fat people who come and get fed all the time. -> never apply, never get discipled. dont die of spiritual cholesterol!

4) USS aircraft carrier -> blow up everything. blast demons everywhere.-> we dont like this and this, write petition/protest, blast it out when they dont like it.

5) speed boat - competition boat -> "oh you have 20,000 people? we'll have 20001!!!, oh u give 20million for your building fund? we'll give 21million!, etc..."

We are not a love boat, we are not a submarine, we are not a floating hongkong restaurant, nor an aircraft carrier or a speed boat, but WE ARE A FISHING BOAT! out there to win the lost and make a difference in the world! -> we are designed to win souls for the Kingdom of God, to populate Heaven and plunder hell!

Great 2 hour plus bible study!

BS was 2 hrs plus today, and ps meng was awesome. hes a really funny preacher hahas. theres this scripture story on how Peter was baptizing ppl in e HS, when this guy saw wad was happening and he wanted what they experienced (e speaking of tongues) so he offered a sum of money to be baptized in e HS...

but Peter (or was it paul? cant rem exactly) rebuked him saying, "...may your money perish with you..." then ps meng so funny, he used 'MODERN TRANSLATION' for the phrase, and turned it into, "to hell with your money..." we were all laughing LOL!!!

then got ppl say when e entire church speaks in tongues its makes them confused, just bcos e entire church speaks in tongues. so ps meng was like, hmm....so since everyone is copying notes does that bring confusion bcos everyone's doing it? LOL!!! then he also talked abt interpretation of tongues, and he went on to say, if ppl use the charisma gift of tongues to speak to e congregation interpretation is needed bcos ure edifying others, yes, but when ure using the dorea gift of tongues to praise God and edify urself theres no need to interpret...

then he said, since we move in the dorea gift to praise God and to celebrate, then is there a need to interpret the football fans when they shout: GOOOOAAAALLL!???? LOL...then we were all laughing sia..hahas. do we need interpretation when e fans do the kallang wave? lol, does that bring confusion bcos they are celebrating to edify themselves with joy and excitement? lol...

common sense speaking, when ure talking to God theres no need to be kaypo and ask other ppl wad they are saying to God...lols its like a couple whispering sweet, lovey-dovey, romantic words to each other then u ask e guy or e gal, "eh? may i know what you are saying to ur boyfren/gurlfren ah?" LOL....x) *pwned

learnt a lot of things today, last lesson we learnt tt baptism in e HS is a separate different encounter altogether from salvation. and baptism in e HS is not proven by e gifts of e spirit, i mean, even non believers can have e fruits of e spirit.

this wk we learnt tt the dorea gift of tongues for self edification is given e moment we are baptised in e HS, and we can only move in the charisma gifts (prophecy, GIFT of tongues, interpretation of tongues, word of wisdom/knowledge, healings, signs and wonders, faith, discernment of spirits, etc...) AFTER we have received the dorea gift through baptism in e HS.

and whenever God gives us a gift, He doesnt take it away, its just tt e gift had been neglected, and e person will have to stir up his faith once again to move in e gift. and example would be mission trips, normally b4 e trip we would fast like crazy, pray like crazy and ask God for the grace to move in the charisma gifts, then when e mission team arrive at e country, and its pretty easy to move in the charisma gifts when God begins to prove His word with signs and wonders.

but after e trip, when e person becomes to complacent and starts 'slacking', soon he/she will find tt e gifts no longer work as strong as it was during e mission trip. also learnt abt the different physical manifestations of the HS:

Falling, Shaking/Trembling, Immobility, Weeping/Crying, Drunkeness, Laughter and Trance. i havent seen someone who has reached e level of trance or immobility. mebbe cus ppl are afraid of wad people will say. btw, its not an emotion thing, its a GOD-thing! just let God move freely in us and we can experience the power of the HS for ourselves.

when e HS falls on us there is a glory/weight, kabod. its tangible and substantial. e presence of God is not just the knowing tt He's there. but it is tangible and substantial. and to fall under e power of the HS is the word naphal. its really amazing tt u understand e Word more e moment u have e original greek/hebrew translations lol.

if u wanna know wads dorea and charisma? go to bible school! lols...actually, a fundamental bible study shld teach oredy..hahas all these are just elementary principles, basic foundations, tt e bible talked abt, we still have to go on to perfection.

i liked some of the testimonies tt ps meng shared. one was abt dr cho. he was driving on e highway one day when a guy flagged his car to a halt, and when dr cho turned to see who it was, he saw Jesus coming into his car and sitting beside him. i was so inspired by e testimony. hope one day i can have such encounters...i was also reminded on ps phil's demonic encounter which he overcame and ps ulf ekman's angelic encounters....

guess i still have a long way to go and to mature to be able to have such closeness in relationship with God...ps meng also shared that recent records have shown more cases of WHOLE prayer groups/celgrps who were taken up to the 3rd heaven when they were praying before returning to earth, overseas. it really amazes me. ive read of single ppl being brought to heaven, now we're talking abt whole prayer groups! i believe it can happen to us as well ;)

and i thought ps kong's sermon, deja vu : glimpses of eternity, is inspiring enough lol. its one thing to hear abt it, its another thing to experience it for ourselves. ps meng also shared on e testimony of this female preacher who went into a trance for THREE DAYS and she just stood there pointing to the sky for 3 days. and he also shared on e azuza street revival, on how ppl were seeing fires coming out from e warehouse but when e firemen reached there they found no fire, and they realised it was the fire of the Holy Spirit that was so tangible.

theres just too many stories, but lets desire these charisma gifts and more encounters with God like never before. not just to be filled but to move from glory to glory! ;)

Prayer Meeting at JW building

yeah! prayer meeting was awesome! im on fire now! wahahahas, lols

things happen when we pray, esp in the Spirit. many ppl tink e church is how it is today bcos of its style, methods, etc. no man, its not about methods, but its about the faith and the anointing of the atmosphere, and of course...really...the 'backstage' or the 'engine' of CHC is prayer.

u can copy e style, methods, or u can have the talents, but without the anointing, you cant do anything at all...

Dr Cho's church of 9xx,xxx in seoul, korea has mass prayer meetings in stadiums! feel really encouraged hahas, indeed i believe we can cross 30,000 this year, and 40,000 in 2 yrs time! ^^

but for that to happen, we've really got to deepen and widen our foundation, so that the vision can be built on it. if u want the building to be taller and stronger, ur foundation must therefore be strong. lets move to a whole new level, to a level where we can believe the impossible! ;)

this week's been busy, tiring and stressed, but thank God for prayer meetings hahas. tmr have CP test, thurs got SA test, friday is OOP assignment submission and walkthrough, monday is PM test. so many tests...*scccrrreeeeeeaaaammm! lol.

im excited abt tmr's bible study, hahas...and im glad someone else is even more excited abt AFV...^^ hor? pampers char siew bao? =p wakakakas...lol =D ok, id better stop here, before someone suggests something pink on me! *hmmph! LOL...x)

THOUGHTS

only had one hour plus of sleep. today, well, was trying to stay awake cus scully later wake up late. but as usual, i failed to stay awake till 5am. so i dozed off and was awaken by my bro in e morning. well, managed to reach expo on time. shared cab with my bro, elvin and asher.

guess what, bi mei and alicia were there...BUT...something was different. they were sitting on the roadsite(carpark) behind hall8, near e rear entrance! hahahas, the hall havent opened yet!!! LOL! x)

started off by setting up the conference area. when service started, helped wei siang to do sound level recording using the sound meter. basically every 10minutes i had to stand outside the hall and record the max level and the min level then comms to WeiSiang. in between i was standing jus behind the curtain in e main entrance watching the service. it was grrreeeaatt! hahas ^^

something very irritating and disturbing, people were like leaving during the preaching and before service ended. if coming to church is a preference then u might as well not come anyway. this is the house of God, not your grandpa's house! if i was e security guy i would stop them immediately...if u jus come for the music, then sorry, ure in the wrong place. i just dont like people who destroy the atmosphere of God, the atmosphere of worship..

the presence of God travels through an atmosphere of worship. the power of God travels through an atmosphere of faith. our atmosphere is determined by the things we say, by our attitudes and actions.

people like suddenly screaming/clapping when everyone is lifting their hands in worship. its like hello? you know how to flow or not? im really thankful for pastor kong, that indeed in CHC we dont have church goers, but church MEMBERS, ppl who dont attend church but are PLANTED in the house of God. we dont believe in making converts, we are in the business of changing lives and making disciples!

i remembered wad pastor kong said before, people who are saved in their hearts, but not renewed in their minds, people who are inspired but not transformed. people who claim to have Jesus in their lives yet live as if He never existed! living, small, low-level, defeated lives.

i liked the message by ps tan today, it was slightly different. one point i liked is that, its not about man converting the soul, but about God convicting the heart! to condemn is not to convict. of course there are people who get offended the moment they are convicted of something tt they've done wrong and they feel condemned. i remembered what Paul meant when he talked about those who are "weak in the faith", those who are fearful all the time. no fear of the Lord, no joy of the Lord.

once saved, NOT ALWAYS SAVED. salvation is not a one-time event. we have been saved (salvation), we are BEING saved (sanctification), and we will be saved (glorification). just becos u believe in Jesus doesnt make you a disciple. just like BGR, just bcos u like someone doesnt make u the boyfren or the girlfren. faith without works is dead, dead works. and anything not born out of faith is sin.

after ministry, rushed home, met bao on e way...then after tt supposed to attend huixin's grandpa's funeral wake. but those who were going were already there when i left. then i felt so funny to be e only one going for the 6pm one...so paiseh...in e end i didnt go, though i wished i could T_T :(

oh ya....I COULDNT GET AN AUTOGRAPH OR A PHOTOGRAPH FROM DELIRIOUS? waaaaaa..lols the entire guest room area was sealed off not only by security, but by the police as well. *boohoohoo...lolz nevertheless, it was great serving in the house of God :)

school tmr. BS on wed, my FIRST guitar lesson with bao on thurs, then celgrp...WAIT!!!! celgrp on thurs? ahhhhhhhh.... lol nooooooo.... well, still excited anyways...haha for cg and service too, jus gotta settle them soon lol.

Delirious?

whoa Delirious? was awesome! they are really bringing the kingdom of Heaven down. and the Word was just as appropriate, planting ourselves in the House of God. the moment our lives are away from the House of God, our lives are bound to mess up.

during worship, i was touched by the presence of God...i was in tears and i felt the presence of God flow like a river. thank you Jesus, thank you Delirious. its sad to see christians going to church without having an encounter from God. but for the mature, you'll know that you can experience God no just in the church, but we are all carriers of God's presence everywhere we go...:))

learnt that we have got to set our priorities right.

1) House of God
2) Our own house/family
3) Career

many people including christians in e world today, do it e other way round. that is why there are broken marriages, fallen careers, our lives prosper, just as our soul prospers. it starts from the inside out. the condition of your heart, determines the condition of your life.

more than just being a preference, as mature believers lets move in e realm of conviction and not stay at the baby stage. dont live on yesterday's revelation, everyday's got to be a fresh encounter with God. and more than just knowing the logos, we have to live according to the Rhema of God! =)

Breathe, God, breathe like never before!

today in sch i saw a shocking sight! the toilet at blk27, lvl5 had a cubicle tt had a burnt smell. i went in and saw the toilet paper holder in a mess, like a bomb site! lol

someone actually burnt e toilet paper, which in turn, travelled up the toilet paper roll inside e toilet paper holder, and everything caught fire. Gad told me tt e boys toilet was in smoke and it was on fire yesterdae but i didnt know wad he meant until i went in myself today! LOL...incidentally...hahas to do business ma, how i know got e smell? lols...

burnt toilet paper was dangling...everywhere. the holder had melted out of the wall, leaving behind the nail through the wall in e center. well, 70% of it had melted away, e remaining jus dangled from the wall like a tentacle!...woot lols

today celgrp was great. learnt abt relational evangelism, doing it e Jesus way.

i wanna be able to apply the Word, God help me, align my will to do Your will :))

before cg, was helping evan to tune e guitar and writing e chords down.

after cg we lao yu sheng, haha...then we chatted and ate at e same time. then eugene had to go, but at e same time, he wasnt feeling well so we laid hands and prayed for him. faith without works is dead! ;)

then 2 unexpected events happened.

while i was playing dota with my class, bao msg me tt evan has given the green light for me to be trained by bao to be a celgrp guitarist. its lik, DEJA VU! God has been speaking to me abt becoming one one day, i even had visions and dreams.

i have been waiting patiently, and the word became flesh at e most expected time! lol. if God has spoken, God will provide. i mean, jus look at bao, God's is always faithful and His blessings always come at e right time when you put God first. i believe more than just following examples, we should be examples ourselves.

how can you share e good news if u are not good news in e first place? ;)

more than just preparing financially, hopefully to get a new accoustic one day and perhaps a new electric guitar with effects, its time for me to prepare spiritually. when i become a cg guitarist its gonna take more than talents, i have to be able to carry the anointing of God and release it through my ministry as a cg guitarist.

im strangely, i seen calm abt it. already seen. jus wanna thank God for all He's done in my life, the seen and the unseen x)

another shocking unexpected news i received frm seth is that they brought forward e O level results! woot he got shocked, i got shocked too. God is doing so many unexpected things and i believe this year, now tt cny's over, like wad ps said, there's gonna be supernatural exponential growth in our church and we will cross 30000 in 12 months.

faith is more than jus believing in something, faith is a substance, it is substantial, when its there, u know its there. i mean, everything God spoke to us through ps kong came to pass. 48m titanium building, crossover project winning 1xx,xxx souls for Christ, moving to expo, and crossing 20,000...and soon crossing 30000 and our new marketplace iconic 10,000 seater building in e marketplace, for e marketplace, to penetrate e marketplace! =)

im excited, but more than excitement, lets be renewed, lets enlarge out capacity, cast our nets, lets be transformed and grow more in e image of Christ! :))



im already having visions and dreams of myself on stage as a musician....

first of all, i wanna thank God for the 250 bucks i received. this weekend can tithe my firstfruits! yeah! ^^

been waking up to bai-nian for e past few days, and also many frens and relatives came too. a bit sleepy, and guess what, i woke up late today...hahahas. missed the 4-hour OOP lesson...*faint

still have assignments to go, sad right? hahaha...T_T

im excited. later is my first FT2 class! yeahs...and of course, everyone's lookin forward to this weekend Delirious? service :)) yeehaa...lol. cant wait for the preaching also ;)
