MY THOUGHTS

this weekend has been grrrrreeeeeaaaaaat for me. i served during S1 but managed to get e message, and went for s2, s3, s4, s5, s6. well all of them i was alone except s3 (thanks Evan for accompanying me), s5 (yea sat with celgrp) and s6 (sat with Pranee's celgrp, dun really have e time to know all of em T_T, but its ok. :))

basically here's who ps prayed for durin e weekend:

s1: cgl, age 25-30
s2: pastors and leaders, musicians, choir, singers, cgl, poly students
s3: cgl, BBG members
s4: cgl, 25-30
s5: cgl, poly students
s6: cgl, poly students

i got laid hands upon 3 times! imparted with:

1. fresh anointing for music and worship
2. spirit of prophecy
3. a dream frm Heaven that will change lives for eternity and make an impact in e world.

honestly, it kinda felt rather "overflowing" after e 3rd time ps laid hands on me. there was just sooo much imparted, and its not, i say again, definitely NOOOOOT easy to fulfill ALL of them! soooo much faith, spiritual maturity, obedience, commitment, spirituality, holiness is required to activate every gift that ps imparted to us.

but i believe that through God NOTHING is impossible. that salvation is not jus a one-time event, but a lifelong commitment and a lifelong process of sanctification, that we become more and more like Christ everyday.

yesterdae as i was blogging, God touched me and i began to see myself, in my spirit, running after God, and He was going further and further away, i ran even faster.....finally i caught His hand. i knelt down before Him and cried: pls dont go! i cant live without You, pls be close to me all my life, please...i love You, dont go....i need you more than i need myself....

and Jesus turned and smiled. =)

at that moment i jus cried, i had an encounter. and it was good i felt so close to God, indeed we are a match made in Heaven ^_^

MORE SHARING

i liked one of the experiences that ps ulf shared. he was visiting this native village in i tink Africa, correct me if im wrong, and there was a spiritist (one who talks to spirits and the dead), then when e spiritist saw Ps Ulf, he stopped whatever he was doing and said to Ps Ulf, "My spirits are saying to me that your Spirit is stronger and more powerful than us, and that i should respect you."

when i heard that i was like....PRAISE THE LORD! LOL.....;) yea indeed greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world! =)

i liked another joke tt ps shared when someone becomes critical and asks u why give so much to God for what!?! the response is soomething like: because we love Him, then wad about you? how much have u given to the devil for the alcohol, cigarettes, etc? LOL!!! i hear it i was like ROFL hahahaha....

really wanna thank Kexin for telling me that theres a 3 day fast this wk and prayer meeting in church office at suntec. if not i wouldve been kept in e dark, thanks gal ^_^

Service 6 - Dreams

this sermon wasnt really completed cus there were lots of points and very little time, ps ulf said he'll finish up e next time he comes in nov, in e meantime, heres wad he talked about for that 1hr or so...

-act 2:16-18, 1 cor 2:7-12, 14
-the spirit of God KNOWS the heart of God
-through the Holy Spirit we have ACCESS to God.
-Unlike the world, we have a DIFFERENT Spirit, one that the world nv understood.

-e.g. when we give freely, when we bless those who curse us, the world can never understand.

-Having a dream is not enough, we have to SPEAK it into existence.
-Whatever God plans, He pays.
-A dream is the language of the Holy Spirit.
-In a dream, anything and everything is possible! -> it expands your reality.

-A SPIRITUAL dreamer is a visionary -> one who doesnt limit himself to the current reality. Therefore dun despise them.
-God is limitless...
-Everything starts with a dream.
-A dream gives hope. (The Word).

-DARE to dream, dun jus settle for little, your God is not small, DREAM BIG! Ask God for the BEST!
-God decides the SIZE of your dream, you decide the fulfillment of your dream.
-A dream gives freedom and fulfillment.

Service 5 - A Prophetic Generation

-acts 2:16-18
-NOW is the time for a prophetic generation. indeed we ARE living in the endtimes when God will pour out His Spirit upon ALL flesh.

-You dont need to be a prophet to prophecy. Prophets are not just abt people, its a MINISTRY!
-To prophecy is to SPEAK the Words of God.
-Every generation needs prophetic voices, to give them a vision, a purpose, and to strengthen them.

-Prophetic words can come in visions or dreams.
-a vision is visual, u can SEE it...openly, in ur heart or in ur spirit.
-a dream is a 'movie'....a vision that is 'rolling'. when there is something rolling in your spirit man.
- A prophecy that comes from God WILL come to pass!

-To be 'poor in the Spirit' is to be hungry, to have a spiritual need, to be dependent!
-God NEVER blesses His people to the extent that they are independent of Him.
-Jhn 15:7-8 -> the 'fruit' comes from the Word. When God SPEAKS, fruits begin to appear.

-Many people try to plug into God, but they leave the plug dangling on e socket, the reason why they dont hear from God is because the plug is not plugged ALL THE WAY in.

What is the solution?

-The answer is God abiding in you and you abiding in Him!
-To 'abide' is to DWELL PERMANENTLY.
- i) The Word comes when u abide in God
- ii) The fruit comes when God abides in you.
-When these 2 combine, u can be assured everything WILL go well.

-Sometimes God plays hard-to-get. Sometimes He'll just walk pass you because He's checking your heart.
-That is because Jesus is NOT cheap! Hes precious!
-If you truly love Him you'll not just admire Him, but you'll PURSUE Him and never let Him go.

-Jhn 4:50, 48-49
-As long as u ABIDE, there's NO LIMIT.
-our lives can be an adventure, custom-made, a dream when we TAP into God!
-Jesus doesnt look at your desperation, He looks at your heart.

-Miracles come AFTER the Word has been spoken.
-Things happen in your life bcos God SPOKE. nt jus spoke but spoke...TO YOU (the Rhema).
-We USE abilities, we dun trust them.
-Never be strong in yourself. because we all know that if the Holy Spirit were to take 1 step backwards, we are done. our lives will crumble and fall apart.
-If God is FOR us, no one can be against us.

-dun just hear and believe the Word, but believe the Word spoken....to you!

Service 4

ill make this quick:

service 4 - 3 things about Jesus

-col 3:3
-Jesus is not just your savior, friend and Lord, He is your LIFE! -> without Him u are nothing, but with Him you can do ALL things and are totally DEPENDENT on Him.
-We may be called children of God but we are definitely NOT CHILDISH, we grow and mature as a believer.

1) Jesus' death is our SALVATION

-we are not cursed, but BLESSED. -> we dont have to worry if ppl curse us, bcos every curse flies past us who are blessed by God Himself. Who can curse what God has blessed?
-Humility is all about coming to the Lord

-We can never fix our own mess, or fix a mess ourselves...RUN TO HIM! Hes not just a comforter, one who encourages, but Hes our Savior, one who SAVES! Hes our redeemer, one who REDEEMS.
-Heb 4:16
-We can all FREELY RECEIVE from God and come BOLDLY before God.
-Therefore Heaven is NOT closed above you!

2) Jesus' life is our EXAMPLE

-1 pet 2:21, mt 11:28-30
-The cross is BOTH redemption as well as an EXAMPLE.
-Learn to LEARN from Jesus. Before you do anything, THINK! If God were in your position what would He do?
-Jesus was flexible.
-If you rely on yourself or try to fix things yourself, ull find it very hard. because in everything that we do, glory belongs to God. and that glory was MEANT for God to carry, not you.

<3) His glory is my LIFE

-2 cor 3:18, 11:2
-Be heavenly and Kingdom minded!
-His glory is His personality, and as we accept Him into our hearts, our personality should be that of Jesus, or at least, more and more like Him each day.
-As we decrease, He increase
-Be stewards. Dont love God's blessings, miracles, etc. MORE than God! Just like a child receive a present frm his daddy, if the child pays all e attention on e gift and not e father, the father would be upset

Service 2 and 3

its took me great pain to be able to even start windows let alone log on to the internet T_T. my infamous toshiba laptop's harddisk is spoilt like few months ago i believe, took an hour or so to load windows, then another hour to load the desktop and taskbar! and the loading light is on ALL THE TIME! it seems to be loading a LOT of things but actualli its loading like in bits and pieces for HOURS!

feels as if the harddisk i replaced at MEL a few months ago which had e same problem, came back to me....cheaters! lol *sobs. well, yesterdae's service is great

service 2 - 2 hours of prophecy and ministering

there was no message, it was jus worship, prophecy and great move of the Holy Spirit all the way. Ps prophecied that out of our church will flow music like never before, music that the world has never seen or heard. music not just frm our hearts, but music from Heaven.

the world's music is filled with people's proBlems, wrong kinds of love, the people-love and not the God-love, people's sadness and melancholy, but all that is gonna change, music is meant for the glory of God, and to bring faith, hope and love, not to make u think of the problems u go through but to make u SOLVE them.

when the musicians began to play on S2, ps ulf saw a vision of a door opening with a flashing light that says, "MUSIC"! not that we're gonna be a music church or anything, but that we will be a worshipping body singing songs that will captivate the world....NEW songs that are gonna be brought down from Heaven to FILL this world that really needs true love.

already our Worship album Cross has been sold out in taiwan, malaysia and soon we're gonna enter the UK, US and australian market. praise the Lord :D indeed our church will have such an anointing for music and worship, no doubt the world's music is good, but one thing it lack, that substance called Divine Love and anointing to change, not jus individuals but the NATIONS!

so pastor ulf laid hands and prayed for the musicians, singers and the choir. as he prayed towards e choir, e entire choir on stage fell under e power of God ;) he also prayed for the poly students! :) woo it felt good......but.....sigh there was a lot of people and so ya, i wasnt able to enjoy it as long as i could T_T lols.

btw, i heard when ps laid hands on ps yong, he flew into a back somersaut and landed on his knees, in a kneeling position! i didnt see it cus i was 1-on-1 with God at tt time.

service 3 - Love

-The devil can do everything, miracles, signs and wonders, healings, and put on a good show to deceive many in e end times, but one thing he CANNOT do or understand, is LOVE.
-Mt 24:14, 7, 11-12
-In the end times, love will fade away -> what you do not have, eventually u cant give it.
-the opposite of love is not only hatred, but INDIFFERENCE

-1 Jhn 4:8
-As worldly love fades, divine love will come and fill that void. -> thus it IS our best time, because people will search for that which we have and that which they do not have.
-Gal 5, 1 Cor 13 -> faith goes WITH love. faith has no power w/o love and vice versa.
-Divine love / AGAPE love is totally unselfish!
- we ALL have a tendency to be preoccupied with ourselves, to talk abt ourselves. its always abt ME and I.
-be QUICK to hearing and SLOW to speak! be interested in others!

-Love is a WEAPON
-2 temptations in e endtimes:

1) To leave the Kingdom of God
2) To behave like the world; do everything like e world, think like e world and still u claim u love God.

-in every situation, learn to react the way God would react. WITH love of course.
-2 tim 3:1-5
-love is NOT tolerance, tolerance is ignoring people's faults and create an 'illusion' dat everything is fine between each other, whereas love brings judgement and love corrects!
-love AND judgement go together.

-3 perverted love:

1) love of self
2) love of money -> we USE money, and GIVE money, and NEED money, but we dont love/worship/live for money.
3) love of pleasure and/or lust

-people who think of themselves eventually get tired of themselves.
-ego cultivates deception and loneliness as one deceives himself.
-love always GIVES!

-In e end times, e devil will perform signs and wonders, healings, miracles and put on agood show.
-But dont be deceive, if people live jus for miracles and not for the miracle-giver, they'll eventually be deceived by the devil.
-To love an UNSELFISH life is a CHOICE!

Ministry, Service 1

ministry was fun today. officially kicked off my FIRST BS class! yea! really wanan thank Desmond, despite being sick, he chose to sacrifice and to serve. i believe God sees your heart and your hunger for the things of God, and i believe God will heal you, bless u and to make u a blessing to e people around you :D

managed to listen to e sermon today. and thanks to Sean, i got e notes, so here they are:

7 things that hinder your destiny.

1. An UNTEACHABLE Spirit - Jas 1:19 - Be quick to listen, slow to speak; to be teachable.
-Always be willing to learn more, don be complacent or mediocre.

2. UNFULFILLED promises - Ecc 5:4-5, 1 cor 3:30
-One thing God cant stand is fools.
-If we are merely hearers and not doers of the Word, we deceive ourselves.

3. UNFORGIVENESS - Mk 11:22-25, Col 3:13
-Most of the time we hold many things about everybody! But we must not hold anything about anybody.
-compassion compels you to change your lifestyle.

4. Having UNWILLING associations - 1 cor 3:15
-we are to love everybody but we do not necessarily have to approve their lifestyle.
-stay with the right people. (positive, faith, same vision, same heart, etc...).
-Bad company corrupts good character.
-dont think u can bring ur bf up, (cus normally its e gal trying to bring e guy up), its easier for him to pull you down.
-Be SELECTIVE of your company; not choosy, but SELECTIVE.

5. An UNGIRDLED tongue - James 5
-The most powerful weapon is the tongue. it can either bring heaven to someone's life, or bring him closer to hell. in other words, it either bring life or death to someone.
-do not allow negative people to spoil the atmosphere, we ALL can contribute and CHANGE the atmosphere.

-stop complaining, but in everything, with prayer and supplication WITH THANKSGIVING, let your requests be made known to God.
-If u keep on complaining about something, eventually ull lose it.

6. UNDEVELOPED gifts - Mt 25:18
-Find your talent and develop it and USE it the RIGHT WAY for the RIGHT PURPOSES.
-dont hide your talents!
-God placed em in you for u to USE it to bless the world; besides, its not your talent but it's GOD'S talent.
-everyone has talents and abilities. even criminals have talents!

e.g. loan sharks have the talent of leadership, effective communicator, can handle money, and have all sorts of creative ideas to get what they want.
-in other words, criminals are just talented people, with no MORAL, using their talents for the wrong purposes.
-if uve hidden/lost your talents, SEARCH, DIG and USE it!

7. An UNDECISIVE heart - Jas 1:5-8
- a christian walk is a faith walk.
-a DOUBLE MINDED person will NEVER achieve anything.
-he is someone who doesnt want to make a decision

i heard tomoro ps is gonna pray for poly students! so excited. ill be going! hehe xD and ill be staying after S5 on sunday to go for S6, bcos ps ulf's messages are always building up on top of one another. ;)

and so happy, for the first time after a few months, Ive FINALLY EATEN THE CAFE's TERIYAKI CHICKEN!!!! YAY!!!!! LOL....*drools i miss it x) haha...

on second thought, i tink im gonna try to go ALL the services! ^^ yea....itll really stretch ur capacity, as for me, been dere, done dat lol....=x

finally, VL completed! yea....hehex. so excited, cant wait for FT2! wahahaa...lol

and most exciting of all was that the quiz was taken IMMEDIATELY after lesson10 ended lol.

im still in thoughts abt yesterdae's messgae on the 4th turning and on what ps zhuang told us yesterdae. that if everyone of us were to be more serious with the Word, with prayer, with living a life of purity and sanctification and be more serious with God and more kingdom-minded, then revival wouldnt be a problem.

a celgrp/church is only as strong as its members. the reason our cg is nt growing is because not ALL of us are at tt level of seriousness and quality of spirituality that God expects us to have. when we have e quality, God WILL bring in e quality!

frm today onwards, ill make e decision to fast at least once every week, spend time with God everyday, pray and read His Word everyday! when ALL of us come to tt level of maturity, God will begin to move! =)

this friday serving, ps ulf ekman, must wear tie!!!! urrgh.....now to go and find one.....><

The fourth turning

comb PM was great today, had sy rogers to talk about the 4th turning adapted frm a book. its e cycle of history that repeated itself for generations. the PM was good but the most important part was the message, so here goes:

imagine a circle with 4 quadrants
1 circle = 1 cycle = 80 years (this is HISTORICAL STATISTIC!)
1 quadrant = 20 years.
every cycle (1 circle / 4 quads) is the seasons of time that we are in.

the quadrants:

NOTE: ALL seasons in this set of notes refer to the quadrants, not your annual seasons! Its jus explained in a different context.


1. Spring(HIGH TIME) 2. Summer (AWAKENING)

4. Winter (CRISIS) 3. Autumn (UNRAVELING)


each is 20 years.

Spring - war has ended, people are PRO-God, PRO-family, PRO-value, PRO this and that.
a new system emerges. e.g. globalism (founding of UN). its the HIGH TIME

Summer - what are they awakened to? their CONSCIENCE! people start to have the mentality
to question the new system. e.g. is the govt good enough, are the laws passed
effective, etc. in other words, they start to 'awaken' and begin to question the things
that are going on around them.

autumn - the unraveling (whatever that has been, begins to die at this stage). its the stage of
regrouping and many different parties/denominations start to form

winter - crisis. where most wars are triggered by events that occur in the past 3 quads. it could
be rough, or smooth sailing, but nevertheless, its STILL a BUMPY and COLD winter.

imagine the past 'winter' season, was ww2 (102x AD - 194x AD) . people thought the end/antichrist has come. but in spring, old systems (nationalism) died out and a new order began, globalism. 20 years past with each quadrant.

and here we are, the 3rd quadrant (autumn), estimated frm 198x AD - 2000 AD. and in THIS quadrant of time, we were born, most of us. which means to say, the previous generations and past quadrants have invested heavily on us. dats y our generation is called e millenia generation, hero generation or the blessed generation.

we are blessed because of past generations' contributions.

now the stunner...

frm STATISTICS, if the growth rate of christianity continues to increase, before 2030, its estimated that 1.x billion would be christians which is the world population at its most precise estimation. which means to say, frm 2000-2020, in OUR generation, is the 'winter' season of time, a time of crisis.

and historians in e past have speculated a few events that could be triggered as a result of the 2nd quadrant (196x AD - 198x AD), all the different groups, ideologies, denominations, etc. one of the things they predicted was the hijacking of an airline, which was so accurate, and as u can see now, the 9-11 incident.

disease like AIDS and SARS have also come in. 'winter' has started. dun believe, see the date of the 9-11 events, they were triggered towards e 4th quadrant. also, because of various thinkings in the 2nd quad, and 3rd quad, we now have mis manipulated idea of atomic energy and biomolecular science, resulting in WMDs and biochemical weapons.

when ps said, THROUGH God that our generation will take the nations by storm, is because we ARE the generation that is going to go thru this 'winter' period and the next 'spring', when an old system dies and a new order emerges, its gonna be decided by us.

frm the book fourthturning, our generation is seen as one who is, more energetic and have a totally different view of youth. one who is less violent. that is exactly what we are doing now, and who we are now. a new generation of youth that will take the nations by storm, but not w/o first going through the winter period.

bible emphasis on the 3rd day

e bible made several emphasis on the THIRD day, THIRD has a significance. e.g. the rebuilding of e temple of God, resurrection, etc. our generation, e millenia generation is living in the times also known as the THIRD millenia. which i believe many of u have heard about.

who knows? this winter could be the start of ww3, and next spring might be the return of christ, we do not know. God may yet intervene. either way, we are going through this winter together whether we like it or not.

if this winter is not the last days, then we shld continue with our 'Father's' business till He comes. nevertheless, we should not fear. hasnt God been faithful to e past generations and delivered His people time and time again? we are the evidence of God's love and protection in e past generations.

lets rise up, and be prepared like never before, if this period is the armageddon, we do not know, 20 years is a long time, but we believe, we are going to pull through together, our new stadium WILL come! =) and lets be serious with God like never before, because THIS is the generation, that will change future FOREVER....x)

how we fight, is gonna determine the Spring of the future :)

you can feel the adrenaline pumping, the hype and 'excitement' it gets when u release anger on someone, how i remember i used to be addicted to such 'anger rush', u can feel e heart pumping, e blood vessels boiling and bursting. it feels like dying...u can feel e power of death

i was soooo addicted to it, i would remember i always wanted more, anger is not enough, must have violence, and how i remember i used to have a craving for violence and sometimes bloodshed to make myself feared.

i dont want to go back that dark path, in Christ im a new creation now. i dont wanna bother myself with proBlems anymore. this one, i refuse to continue. itll only make my life shorter and more miserable. ill jus leave it alone and hopefully he changes.

NOTES

3 appetites of people

1. Hunger for food

2. Hunger for truth

3. Hunger to be loved.

-when ure hungry, ure vulnerable
-if u dont satisfy a particular hunger, ull hurt yourself and eventually others will feel the impact as well.
-if the right food is not there to satisfy ur hunger, we'll tend to turn to other substitutes to satisfy our hunger for certain things (junk food)

e.g. the hunger for love results in sex abuse -> u dont need sex to know that ure loved, when u truly love someone and get married to him/her and your life is no longer your own but u 2 share each other's lives, sex naturally becomes a part of ur life.

-like junk food, sin only satisfies your hunger but it DOESNT nourish you.

3 things about love:

Love is...

1. Acceptance

-u love someone not for what he/she has done, but for who he/she is.
-in Christ we are clothed with:

i) acceptance (becos Jesus paid a huge price to make you His, bcos He so loved e world He gave Himself up so that we can spend eternity with Him)

ii) confidence (bcos He lives in us and we live in Him, even if no one loves us we are confident that He will never leave us nor forsake us, since He paid the price for us.)

2. Accountability

-what we do and how we live our lives matter to God, even the simplest thing like eating.
-when u love someone, ure interested about his/her life, u rejoice with them and u share their sorrows, their life becomes your life.

-God puts restrictions on us so that we will not hurt ourselves because He loves us and knows what we can handle and what we cannot handle.
-because God loves us, He will correct and discipline us, so that we stay on track and not b lost in darkness or to be in danger.

3. Affirmation

-dun jus say you love someone, PROVE IT by your actions.
-when u see others blessed and not u, dun envy, dun covet, its just not ur turn to be blessed yet. instead, bless them and wait patiently for your turn. indeed those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, they shall be filled

-God shows no favouritism.
-Though we are not able to life a person's burdens, pain/loss, we can still SHARE it.
-When u truly love someone, u are interested in his/her life, and his/her becomes your life. because he/she matters to you.

THOUGHTS

jsu came back frm ministry. before that went early to help pranee with assignment cus she needs to borrow my laptop.

we finished at 1030 but stayed back to help pranee with her assignment. stay strong k, sis. delay is not denial and God is never late, when we truly love God, even if our lives are never changed, it wouldve been still worth it to love the Creator of our lives :) i believe u can do it! with man, its impossible but WITH God, ALL things are possible, yea? ;)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind :)

for me, when i give to e Lord, i dun expect Him to repay me, cus love is priceless, and love is a sacrifice. when u love someone, ure willing to give your all, without expecting anything in return. your become totally selfless, because loves compels you to give.

and omg i jus found out the midnight prayer meeting 1am-7am is NOW! T_T omg so sad...i really really really wanted to go and pray for the church....sobs....so sad....:'( *cryz

nvm im looking forward to tues' combined S5 and S6 prayer meeting, but no overnight T_T i miss OPM...

Indeed God has shamed e devil ^_^

yea, testimony! despite having my WindowsXP admin account down, i managed to recover back my files by around 12+ in e afternoon. at tt moment i tot it was over, there was no way i can finish 10 java files and 2000++ lines of codes by 4 (cus i have to leave by 4).

i was on e verge of jus 'buang-ing' the whole OOP. soon i finished my OOP at 3 plus. now to find someone to help me print the codes, cus MEL support center close at 3 (frm my previous assignment experience :D). thank God for Zak, thanks dude for helping me out.

Its really through these tough times, that our faith is stretched, that we meet the right people. People that are around you in times of trouble are the ones that are gonna be with you for a looong time. Its through these downhill experiences that God begin to show up and save the ones He love.

Ive been crying out to God these few days to help me in my OOP. there was a lot of pressure, but through it all, i knew God even more, and i encountered Him in a much greater way. ;)

SOME OF MY REVELATION OF PROBLEMS IN LIFE

1. problems are there for God to show up.

2. problems are there to help you meet the right people.

3. problems are not bad, they are worth much more than a simple easy life.

4. problems bring you closer to your loved ones and to e ones who love you.

5. problems should be a daily thing. the more we feed on them and "DIGEST" them, when we "CHEW" (taking a step of faith) and "CHEW" (the moving hand of God) and mix with "ACID" (the flow of the Holy Spirit), we become stronger on the inside.

6. every problem is always bigger than the previous one, thats how we grow.

7. problems help reveal more of your true character, your talents, abilities and gifts.

8. problems are stepping stones for you to reach higher.

9. impossible problems are a SURE GUARANTEE that God will show up if you seek Him with all your heart and choose not to waver in your faith, or doubt or fear. bcos only WITH God, ALL things are possible.

10. Lastly, problems are there to show how bad the devil is and to show how good and powerful God is. even when we were faithless, God remains faithful ^_^

really thank God for bringing me through this dark time, indeed faith is not required when things go right, when things are possible...but when things seem to go wrong and appear impossible for just man alone to accomplish.

dont run away from your problems, 'call for backup' and DEFEAT it! bcos in God we are MORE THAN A CONQUEROR! =) people run away from problems bcos they face it alone. and each time God longs to fight on your behalf.

its normal for someone who loves you to prove His love and to 'woo' you in a sense into a more stronger and intimate relationship. how true is that that God wants to win our heart and impress us to draw us closer to Him?

simple. We are created in HIS likeness :D jus imagine how you would go after your gf or bf, how you would want to spend time with the ones you love and to make him/her happy. its the same with God, He wants to hold our hand and never let go, to pick us up each time we fall. =) and because His love is perfect, each time we fall we rise up even higher!

Cel grp meeting

i was supposed to help setup for ccgm, (combined cg meeting) for ps audrey's zone, which i was in. in e end, i had to stay throughout the meeting. didnt really have e time to really go into worship and really grab God. i was sad in a way. but e message was good and many responded to once again grab hold of their first love for God once again.

so i decided to go for makeup on sat with e110. i told myself, i will NEVER because of ministry miss out on the presence of God, to miss out on worship and to miss out any prayer meeting or message. NEVER! my first calling is to the Lord! yea...

presence of God was strong. so many a times, we are not happy with our lives because we tend to forget the things we need to remember and remember the things we need to forget. i got ministered by evan towards e end. presence of God came sooo strong. i began to cry out to God, "i want more of you! though i may not have backslided in anyway, i still want more! im not satisfied!" there was such a great hunger that i felt.

i learnt that we must learn to remember:

1. How God has been GOOD to you. (dont forget God in e midst of ur success, prosperity. it was GOD who brought you to where you are!)

2. How God gave you VICTORIES. (If God has done it, He WILL do it again!)

3. The words God SPOKE to you. (Rhema; revelation - the SPOKEN word.)

4. Your FIRST LOVE for God. (Dont lose the fire, give him your heart, your life, your all!)

-correct memory ignites great faith.
-your life enters the realm your memory takes you into. do NOT focus on the wrong things.

Service

had a great time of praise and worship. heard a shocking news. which i have noticed too. during FOP many people were moving around especially during the preaching! no respect for God, no hunger, no spirituality, and no HEART OF WORSHIP at all. handphones were not silent too!

and MANY were there for the hype and excitement, for the BAND and not for God. come to think of it, i could feel the atmosphere weakening too. and the ALTAR CALL, it was a shocker!

120 churches COMBINED, for THREE NIGHTS, only 15x decisions. on sunday we had our anniversary service. 1 service, 1 church 18xx decisions for Christ.

where is the power? where is the anointing? what has happened!?! people could still go 7-11 go and buy snacks and have a great time during PREACHING! when i heard it i was pierced in my heart. with such a worldly acts and no true heart of worship, its no wonder God couldnt move.

well, here are the notes: XD

1. Worship is WAITING upon the Lord.
-worship is not just a youth thing, its a GOD thing!
-excitement is NOT anointing. GOd doesnt see your acts, but your HEART!
-to 'wait on the Lord' -> (Heb.) to ENTWINE YOURSELF around the presence of God.

2. Worship is UNDISTRACTED focus on God.
-dont worship style/music, dont even worship worship, worship God!

3. Worship is the EXTRAVAGANT ADORATION of God.
-if you REALLY love God, then you'll wanna love him with all your heart, soul and STRENGTH!
-Worship (Gk.) -> proskuneo -> to fall prostrate, lean forward and kiss (His feet). this is the deepest LEVEL of worship because you cant go any lower.

4. Worship is UNCONDITIONAL SACRIFICE to God.
-dont just worship God when things go well, but at ALL TIMES, His praise shld CONTINUALLY be in your mouth.
-even when you dont get anything in return, itll still be worth it to worship the One who Created you and loved you truly, eternally, unconditionally.

THOUGHTS

im glad to be back in church. sorry to say, im not used to places that lacked the presence of God. there's literally no power at all...but still i wanna thank God for touching me on that night at FOP. :) one thing i cant stand is a negative environment, -ve thinking, -ve people, and a faithless environment. ^^

what pains me the most is people leaving or transfering church, ESPECIALLY in the midst where the church needs you the most! i HATE to see people giving the devil a foothold, i cant stand it. HONESTLY speaking from my heart, if you're not 100% for God, then DONT call yourself a christian. its sad to see 'christians' worshipping bands, style, music, even worshipping WORSHIP instead of God.

i HATE to see Satan winning! after all those good things that God has blessed them with and all thos encounters that GOd gave them, is this how they repay God? come to think of it, have they spared a thought for God. i feel hurt everytime when God's hurt. i just feel so helpless...seeing people go one by one.

like pastor said, we dont just want converts but we want TRUE DISCIPLES that will love God WHOLEHEARTEDLY and love people FERVENTLY. take up the cross DAILY and follow Him, and to lay down their lives as a living sacrifice unto the Lord. and to build a church with a STRONG spiritual atmosphere of faith and purity, where every member is released into MINISTRY, DISCIPLED in the great commandment to FULFILL the great commission.

dont just know God as your saviour, know Him as your LORD! the life you live is no longer yours, but His. or rather, its SUPPOSED to...T_T for some 'special cases'...

lets pray for a greater breakthrough in the realm of the Spirit and a breakthrough in the atmosphere and the presence of God ^^

sister vivien is leaving for LA with ps Sun. E354 will be joining us. :) together let's build a greater fellowship, a greater atmosphere and bring in a greater harvest for the glory of God! ;) we say that we want to be true worshippers, a new generation that will take Asia by storm and a new generation that will worship Him in spirit and in truth :)

Zone prayer meeting and comb cg meeting

had combined zone prayer meeting with ps audrey on friday. surprisingly, only me, seth and eugene were there. but it was a good experience. wonderful presence of God. ps oso prayed for those who've lost their first love, and the presence of God just touched their lives once again.

yesterdae had combined cg meeting. it was a good meeting. i went there early to help set up e place. we are always the FIRST to come and LAST to go! lolx. a lot of problems occured but we managed to pull it off nicely.

first e console was wrong, so little input and needed to convert here convert there and not enough converters and cables. also e cables were all entangled which took us a lot of time just to untangle and make sure tt no one trips over them. den before e meeting started ps suddenly wanted a 3rd mic and already we have not enough cables. so naresh used e cable frm e keyboardist's monitor to plug into a spare converter tt we had and plug it into e console. we could tell tt e keyboardist could hear properly what she was playing. also e guitarist had a little difficulty in figuring the key of the song.

also e console's EQ is adjusted by lvl and not by frequency. no its not as accurate and precise. but as long pastor is happy, and we have e presence of God, its good. went to meet w318 and e354 at BK at PS. dunno y mebbe im too tired, i couldnt finish my food. wasted 6 bucks T_T

evan brought along a fren too. we eventually got to know her more and had a great time of fellowship tt night. laptop's not back yet. few more days and they'll (MEL) enter e guinness record of owing someone a laptop for a month!

DB and OOP...*sigh. well, later im goin for cgm with e110 as i was rather busy at e console yesterdae and was a little sidetracked. ^_^ cant wait for Sy ROgers this sunday! yea!...personality and homo. lol! hes a funny guy...i always love his messages. :) hes a gd preacher with a gd testimony. xD

Encounter with God.

yesterdae night, as i was worshipping God and offering Him the sacrifice of praise, while e song ure hearing now, My Source, was playing. The presence of God came and filled my room to overflowing as i knelt down and even fell prostrate before the Lord, longing so much to see His glory once again.

Indeed those who hunger and thirsts for righteousness they shall be filled. and indeed as i lay there before e Lord, and singing You are my Source...He came and filled me with such tangible presence like fire from Heaven. before that i NEVER even felt anything...but all of a sudden, frm no presence i began to experience the FULLNESS of Christ. :) and its not a gradual increase in atmosphere, but a sudden shot of the glory of God.

tears began to roll down my eyes like rivers, it just kept coming down, and i began to weep like ive nv wept before as i experienced God once again in the midst of all that im going thru. indeed no matter how dark, how hopeless, how deep ur situation may be, there is always a light at e end of the tunnel! =)

i jus found out frm tracy tt rach is experiencing something similar...stay strong gal. nothing is impossible with God when u believe! right now im just waiting for the return of my laptop then i can start chionging again :D as for ministry, ill continue to seek e Lord for MORE of His anointing, wisdom and favor and strength. ^^

note that im still in the storm so do continue to keep me in prayer guys as i need all the anointing and str i need :) after last night, im DEFINITELY feeling better now xD

Spiritual attack?

it seems that everything seems to go wrong since e day i gave my pledge. my laptop suddenly flickered and lines everywhere on e screen, black look like red and blue look like yellow...T_T

its 3 weeks now, my laptop's not yet returned. EBF assignment 3, Database assignment, WM assignment, OOP assignment, IS assignment...all accumulated. tink i jus blew my WM. i must have upsetted a lot of people jus bcos i dont have a laptop to do anything and Mel didnt let me loan one cus not 5 working days or something....excuses...keep on saying will be ready soon....

ive let my WM team and IS team down. and i feel that im gonna blow DB too...T_T

i feel so helpless, like everything's crumbling down. Satan get the hell out of my life!

the ministry's burden is on me too...and my spiritual life is declining too...everything is upside down. since e day i lost my laptop my visions and dreams of doing well crumbled. im afraid i might lose my cool anytime. i jus feel like crying but no tears would come out.

missed BS last wk cuz my bro was too 'occupied' he forgot got BS and i was asleep, having faith and trusting him to wake me up...100% no doubt cus we go BS together. today nearly missed BS again, but thank God i woke up in time to rush down. and guess wad's e topic? SPIRITUAL WARFARE! oh my goodness....God's always on time. First deliverance now spiritual warfare. not bad...

What can i do now? nothing. in e midst of all tt im goin thru, this broken-down and fallen state of my life, i believe God'll help me pull thru and make every setback into a glorious comeback. pls pray for me...

Ive watched the Cross DVD 4 times already, and everytime i watch it, the presence and the power of God never failed to touch me and move me to tears. I just feel so refreshed and at peace, with joy, in love with God more and more. No use havin nice music yet it doesnt bring along e presence of God, doesnt give you faith, hope and love. :)

the Delirous? guitarist was awesome. manz...lol top 10 guitarist in the WORLD! as we sang Jesus, Friend forever. he started to sing a prophecy to our church and our nation. when i heard it i was moved, and i felt e tangible presence of GOd tt i began to feel tears of undescribable love and peace and purpose flowing down my eyes.

Darlene Zschech also gave a prophecy frm Isaiah that its time to enlarge our tent! att tt moment i was so clear and obvious, its time to get a new and bigger building and God has spoken clearly thru her today. :) i was so impacted, indeed we are not sowing to a worthless cause, but to a vision that will change entire nations and lives, for eternity!

im so excited when i heard Cross album is mixed at Universal Studios and with 5.1 surround :D and pastor's testimony is a great one:

the sound engineer at Universal Studios, e one who did batman begins, mission impossible, etc. was listening, editing/mixing and seeing our video when he began to feel wad described as goosebumps on his goosebumps and he began to weep in e studio. pastor kong was there for a visit to see the progress and stuffs.

the guy was crying and he asked, "What is this?" and ps replied, "It is the presence and e power of God" :) after hearing it i was so impacted and moved by it and i praised God. ;) btw, e sound engineer was a 'nominal christian'.

FOP was great! phenomenal! Delirious is goooood lol. before that we met at 430 and queued for like 2 hours in e hot sun. it was sooooo hot and everyone was like squeezing like sardines lol.

thanks to one of the frens we managed to 'squeeze' intelligently frm e back of e queue at west entrance to the bottom of e stairs lol. and that Adam jus walked to us from the back by walking along the side of the queue lol...pro...haha

but all that was worth it ;) hehe...later got anniversary....so excited. ^^ cya guys...xD
