Overnight Prayer Meeting

yea! it was awesome...nothing beats being in e presence of God :) yesterdae had cg combined with E110...FINALLY!....lols, miss u guys n gals loadz ;) first time we had notes...haha. thanks evan. :D

yesterdae me vivian and peng were having a mini P&W in my room, hehe....although i did struggle twice to play some of e new songs with my guitar, but it went well :D yea,, praise God!

left my house at 103x, went straight for overnight prayer meeting. and PENG, SHIN and EVAN, they're staying throughout, from 11pm-5am! yea...praise God with me oso la, hahahaha XD

no doubt physically we were tired, but it was God's presence that kept us going, in His presence there is liberty, there is love, there is peace, there is faith, there is hope, there are visions and dreams, there is healing, there is rest, there is power...;)

with man, praying 11pm-5am is impossible, but with God, ALL things are possible. once again note its WITH God, tt means there must be mutual cooperation/exchange :D throughout the meeting i was jus simply hungering for God's presence, cos i noe if i do not feel His presence so strong i would doze off....hahaha XD i went there with gastric, stomach discomfort, but God, AL ALWAYS, healed me during P&W when His presence and love touched me. (:

and ive never seen soo many people stay all e way! praise God too...:D indeed God has spoken. we WILL have our 6000-8000 seater stadium! wad God has said, no angel in heaven, no demon in hell, no person on the face of the earth can stop it from happening ;) yea, so excited. i jus know that after EmerGE2005, im sure very soon we're gonna need Service 7. We need a BIGGER PLACE! yea, and we WILL get it bcos He has spoken...:)

our current church building was built in e midst of e biggest recession in Asia, 48million dollars debt free, no loans, by the YOUTH in our church. man said its impossible, but God didnt :D and im glad he NEVER says impossible...hehe...God said never despise your youth. many great leaders like King David started their amazing accomplishments as a youth. Jesus was a youth when He went into ministry and changed the world :D

and indeed God is raising up a new generation of youths in singapore, that will be world shakers and history makers. A gd idea may work, but a GOD IDEA WILL come to pass...XD

FLASHBACK

First brain cracker:

in e bk of isaiah conference. ps preached about a particular chapter in isaiah when isaiah saw a vision of the first rebellion aka e fall of Lucifer aka Satan. and in that particular chapter in that vision isaiah described Satan during e fall, as someone who deceived the nations. NOTE: its in past tense.

in other words, in between gen 1:1 and gen 1:2 many things happened....Adam and Eve were not the first human beings on the planet. during the Fall, there were already nations and civilisations that were under the influence of Satan and had rebelled against God. furthermore, in e garden of Eden, it had oredy occured after the Fall, Lucifer had already become Satan.

well, these are jus some theological brain crackers...as pastor have said, God will not neccesarily reveal everything to us. He jus tells us what we need to noe. But well, this is jus food for thought ya? hehe....hope itll excite u more to read His Word. definitely it has stirred up excitement and hunger for more of God's Word. ull nv noe when God will reveal sth NEW to u, a rhema, unless ure rooted in His Word :)

Another brain cracker:

in gen1:1 it says: in the beginning the heavens and the earth were FORMED by God. but it verse2 it says the earth was WITHOUT FORM. interesting? hahaha, ask God wad happened in between when u get to heaven....;) seriously.....ive still yet to crack this revelation...hehe :D

Last brain cracker:

the first 3 days of creation in Genesis talked about the creation of night and day/morning and night. each day started with morning and ended with night. "so morning and night were the first day/second day/third day"...so on...

BUT, NOTE: the sun, moon and stars were ONLY created on the 4th day!!! interesting? cant sleep tonite w/o answers? hahaha :) dun worry, ull go to sleep tonite wth one cracker solved. yup, i learnt a new revelation from the night and day cracker above, durin service. ;) Here goes...

"Night and day" is a phrase in Hebrew which means: Chaos and Order, this will hopefully shed some light on the First Rebellion aka Fall of Lucifer. ;)

NOTES - SEEDTIME AND HARVEST

-Gen 8:22 talks about while e earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer and day and night shall not cease.
-The Devil cannot do anything to stop these things from happening.
-The only element we are able to control/activate/initiate is SEEDTIME and HARVEST, e rest like day and night, etc...we cannot alter.

-Gen6:7-8
-in the midst of harvest, we should start planting seeds for the future.
(IMPT)-the harvest that a man reaps, is dependent on the type of seed he sows.
-e.g. in a relationship, we should sow seeds of love, in education, seeds of diligence, etc....

-In genesis, "night and day" = Chaos and order (Heb.)
-God has created us to maintain, have dominion, over not jus material possessions, but in every situation, to be His representative to bring order in the midst of chaos.
-man was created to maintain the order that God had created.
-Gen1:26-29
-God has order, He has a pattern, a way of doing things
-Order can also mean God's righteousness in every situation/peace/safety

MAN's FIRST GIFT RIGHT AT THE BEGINNING:

Dominion/power/authority to maintain order!

MAN's SECOND GIFT FROM THE BEGINNING:

-Seedtime and harvest - the rule and the ABILITY to sow and reap.
-2nd law of thermodynamics: Everything in the universe, when left to itself moves towards disaster.
-Gen 1:11 - "according to its kind'' means: we have to sow the RIGHT seeds to reap the RIGHT harvest.
-a soft answer turns away wrath.

HOW DO WE DRIVE SEEDTIME and HARVEST TO A HIGHER LEVEL?

1) Sow your BEST seed.

-Gen 1:12 - "whose seed is in itself" means: In every seed, there is a harvest. and every harvest, there are more harvests waiting in the form of 'seeds'. (Every fruit has a seed).
-we shouldnt be low-class when we sow our seeds, save the BEST seeds. Tithing is an example.
-e.g. in a papaya plantation, e farmer would take the not so good papayas for his own consumption. He will save the SWEETEST papayas for the next harvest.
-Dun give our leftovers!!!

2) Sow GENEROUSLY.

-Ecc 11:1-2
-dun wait till u need a harvest (financial, material, emotional, relational, etc...) then u start sowing ur seeds!
-sow seeds all the time!

3) Sow in FAITH.

-Ecc 11:2-4 -> dun let FEAR stop you from sowing ur seed (BEST seed).
-those who sow in tears WILL UNDOUBTEDLY reap in joy!
-In due season we WILL reap a harvest if we DO NOT LOSE HEART.
-Believe in your harvest, believe in God.
-U NEED faith for S&H to work.

4) Dun be need-conscious, be SEED-CONSCIOUS!

-In every need, God has already placed seeds in ur hands.
-we are where we are (in e midst of chaos) not bcos God enjoys it, but bcos we are there to make a difference, to be the LIGHT, that will bring order in the midst of chaos.
-we are all Christ's ambassadors, in every situation.
-we dun need the situation, e situation needs us :)
-1 cor 10:13, psm 126:5-6

5) The WORD of God is the most POWERFUL seed!

-our seed changes circumstances and situations, but the Word of God changes LIVES!
-it is implanted, pure, living, changes life and it renews your mind.
-things/situations/you will ONLY change, e moment ur thinking changes. :)
-Heb 11:3
-God SPOKE the Word, and there was creation, healings, order, deliverance, blessing...through His word, storms and raging seas were calmed.
-His word will calm every storm and raging seas in your life!

Peng's House

well, woke up rather rather late today...lol. ROSEed for awhile then went to peng's house (penthouse to be exact...hehe). pow wee, shin, keryn and pam were oredy there with Peng and his kawaii dog TuTu...sooooooo cute :D lol

watched vcd, then actualli wanted to lan party, but then, Peng dun have e network ID for his wireless linksys...lol..sobs. got to install quake III from ah bao. jus finished updating it...hehe :D

in e evening after ah bao left, cos he got jamming...JIA YOU for EmerGE2005 talentime, u can do it! hehe =) ya....after he left, me peng pammie shin and keryn went to peng's room and played Pictionary....haha, like lil kids we were soooo excited when we played tt game lols..:D

first peng and keryn teamed up against me shin and pam, then it was peng and pam vs me shin and keryn, lol...."welcome to the winning team!" hahahhaha.....lol! XD

had great fun at peng's hse, lookin forward to church this sunday and sound training. which reminds me, i was stunned during e live recording when Ps Kong told us that ONE shot from the CHURCH PYROTECHNICS cost a shocking $1500+!!!!!! woot!....lol. he very farnie, he was like, dun anyhow press, dun anyhow press....lol i was wondering if some farnie guy went to press e pyrotechnics 3x in a row....man my heart will crack! hahaha....our money!!!!! lol

well, few more hours to service! :D every service is jus so great, its more than jus e music, style, we are not there to worship music, or to worship style or to worship worship, but its about the presence of God that comes along durin P&W. no use having a gd programme w/o e presence and e anointing of God. and of course SOLID MEAT tt is given to us through e Word :)

indeed one day in the house of God is better than a thousand elsewhere....hehe :D TaTAz! (:

i really wanna thank God for BIS results, after so many things that happened, beyond hope projects...0 for common test cos MC and all...incomplete online quizzes...i passed! e only thing i couold count on was my class performance, assignments and e final exam. and praise God I pulled through! yea! :)

also i wanna thank God for OCOM results...its indeed the impossible becoming possible by faith! a shy, quiet person like me...(public speaking is the hardest obstacle for ppl with my personality type) indeed by God's strength can make a difference and an impact! :D God can turn every setback into a glorious comeback...;) an 'AD', mind u not top5% in class, in whole LEVEL!!!! no way i can say its done myself...no way...together me and God, we form an unbeatable team!!!

and i OSO wanna thank God for PSP2....being the HARDEST subject in all 4 mudules, BIS, PSP2, EVP, OS, HARDEST mind u.....i got the highest!!!! man......God ure awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! yea! my whole results was a God-Setup....lol....yea...! ill work harder next year! and move from glory to glory! woohoo!.....;)

e 2 daes of live! album recording was great...! fabulous, extraordinary (extraordinary u take my breath away...lalala....), phenomenal, powerful, impactful, ultimate, fantastic....words alone cant express haha...

FIRST NIGHT

1st nite we had 8 songs instead of 7...i went there sick, hungry, nauseous, but i noe when i offer e sacrifice of praise, things will happen. and indeed durin the praise n worship, i sought no one else but God. i took no notice of e person to my left, to my right, it was jus me one on one. God touched me...i began to cry...song after song....then i was there...alone with God, and He touched me...i was completely healed. no more gastric pains, nauseous feeling, my nose cleared and i felt whole :) it was great....nice songs too...hehe :D

SECOND NIGHT

today it rained and i caught back my flu again....again i went for the live! recording, it was great, fantastic....:) i was healed once again! yea! :D praise God. i felt better after the whole recording. cool dancers we have in church! praise God for them, powerful musicians, marvellous singers and an excited crowd and passionate choir. topclass sound, lighting and camera crews and Godly pastors...:)

6 songs only today...plus 2 bonus features ttll be included in e dvd. e mexican wave....hahaha it was soo fun when we did it, the hiphop and brake dancing, and some credit footages...great package! :)

basically e whole thing was fun, exciting, energetic, powerful, anointed! cant wait to get hold of e CD, nonono, not only e CD but e DVD as well....! hehe :D

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. U wont know what is life till u noe ur Creator. :) God bless....and gd luck T15 for year2!.....=)

Live! Recording Rehearsal today....

man one thing ive never regretted all my life is to know Jesus as my Lord, Savior and Friend. another thing ive nt regretted is going for CHC's Live! P&W album recording's rehearsal and subsequently the actual recording itself. i would love to go on the second day as well, cos i couldnt get my coupons b4 the postpone as i had things on. who knew they would postpone one week and now one day...lol pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee.......hehe :D

the rehearsal was great, all e songs were sang smoothly except one of them, but i believe tom everything is gonna be alright! yea...;) great lightings...man im ready for EMERGE2005! lol, i like the glittering CDs hung frm e ceiling of the stage. great chreography by Phil Pringle's son cant rem his name, oops...sorry, hehheh, and his wife of course :D

the SOUND and MUSIC was tremendously GREAT, EXPLOSIVE, PHENOMENAL, packed with vibrant energy and with the presence and the love of God. i believe too that the next 2 daes are gonna b even greater ;) even though the music was blasting loud, man we sang even louder lol!
although we were told abt changes to tune, timings, layout so on and so forth, we had a great time. :)

learnt 2 new songs, I Give and Extraordinary, really nice songs by our church. and i came to know one of e composers is from my ministry, sound ministry! yea!....one day im gonna compose one song of my own too...hehehehe...=) all things are possible, yea! :)

I didnt noe or mebbe i forgot, cos today i realised our church has 2 tower cameras, u noe those overhead video cams that look like a mechanical arm that goes over ur heads? lol, well..i saw 2 today...! okay, thats like wow.....lol, *sweat....sorry la, i too excited ma..hehe :D well, suprised there are a total of i tink 8-10 cameras including extra lighting at the back. e hall was full of God's splendor and magnificence. :) better than those mediacorp auditoriums/stages......yup once u go there ull realise it...lol

really thank God for such great pastors Kong and Sun, man seldom we see them the way i saw em today...they were so typical...like me! lol....cold jokes, man they're jus like us, cool and funky, yea...hahaha...but of cos, when its time to get serious, they did a gd job, for e glory of God. :)

presence of God was strong too, i rem e first worship song i sang, i think it was 'Cry", the one tt goes, "Lost in you alone, is where i wanna be..." man i cried. really felt the love of God jus surrounding the song and the hall. yupz, it was a great feeling. :)

well, certainly looking forward to tomolo...i got my Laying Foundation quiz! yea! lol, finally can finish LF and start with Victorious Living next month i tink..:) certainly gotta meet a lot earlier tom, hehe gotta take more pics for u guys n gals out there...:) hopefully i can post em up asap...:)

service was great today, PsKong is back! yea! hehe...;) no la, its more than jus the speaker, its really abt e presence of God that was felt tangibly during the entire service. man, when the Word was given about the anointing of God, it really touched my heart throughout, and i mean throughout the entire sermon. my eyes were wet durin the service, could really feel God's love surrounding me :) it was great....

yupz, no sound training today. sobs...no cg next wk too, sobs...but we're currently planning for an outting to sentosa..yupz :D

=The Anointing of God=

To serve, u need God's anointing
Many are called, few 'CHOSEN'

***The degree/level of anointing = degree/level of surrender/commitment -> level of difficulty of trials
e.g. an A-level paper is definitely harder than an O-level paper, etc...

There's always a PRICE for the anointing, presence and power of God.
God is looking for people who can praise Him and worship Him in the midst of desolation.

People who constantly offer the SACRIFICE of praise -> sacrifice = costing u sth, praising God when you dun feel like.
-I will worship the Lord at ALL times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Praise is vocal, expressive, loud. Silent praise is no praise at all -> silent praise = oxymoron
e.g. wanton mee w/o wanton, steamed ice kachang, etc....

Worshipping God 'for FREE' is often a common temptation. King David says, "I will not offer the Lord anything that costs me nothing."
God is not cheap, He's El Shaddai (MORE than enough), not 'El Cheapo'

Our sacrifice of praise mus touch and move our hearts and physical body.
There is NO shortcut in worship; in meeting God.
Faith is a CHOICE. Between problems and God, choose God. -> that is wad it means to say "The Lord is my Portion". -> u CHOOSE to feed on God rather than ur problems.

Offering a SACRIFICE of praise means the most to God. Its e most precious thing to God.

Offering a SACRIFICE of praise brings about life transformation -> bad things starts to turn good, God WILL restore to you, and above and beyond, what the Devil has taken from you.
e.g. bad relationships, struggles, etc.
-What the Devil meant for evil, God can turn it around for GOOD! yea...:)

well, its been almost a week now...so excited for Live! recording...gettin impatient...hahahahaha. no la, seriously its more than jus excitement, nonono, i am not driven by excitement, our church is not driven by methods or excitement, but by the Presence of God. with God's presence comes His power naturally, healings, deliverance, baptism in the HOly SPrit, church growth, cel grp growth, etc...

LAYING FOUNDATION IS FINALLY OVER!.....woohooO!, yea...hehe :D gotta take my test ASAP and move on to Victorious Living Class...cant wait..keke ;) i believe i can graduate by e end of the year, completing 'Going On To Perfection'. can can...with man its impossible but WITH God, tt means we have to cooperate with each other, ALL things are possible. yup.

many ppl see this verse "all things are possible" but forgot the 'WITH God' part. oso, ive jus realised, not tt its some special revelation or anyhtin of e sort hahaha, that ppl use and stick to these verses. another is, "He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can ask or think" BUT forgot the "according to the power that is at work within us" part.

every promise GOd has given us has to backed up by faith. what is faith? faith is the SUBSTANCE of the things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of the things not seen. =) we do not see to believe, but FAITH is truly believing TO SEE :D

also, every promise from God WILL come to pass, but often it requires a mutual exchange between u and God. christianity is not a religion, nono, its about a relationship with our God, our Creator, the One who loved us before the world began, the One who gave everything, so that we can be reunited with Him and experience His blessings and the life that He wants us to have.

man has been separated frm God since the fall of Adam. and by means of GOOD WORKS is not enough to get us united with God, to be with HIm in Eternity in Heaven. ALL men have sinned, and thus we have been separated forever. BUT thru Jesus' death on the cross, all who believe in their heart and confess with their mouth, they are saved, for FREE. =) bcos our Lord paid e ultimate price for our redemption and salvation. ;)

another thought tts going thru my head now, sickness and poverty is NOT from God. yup, its NOT. theres 2 spiritual superpowers in this world. God and Satan. Satan cannot bless, Satan cannot heal, Satan cannot love, likewise, God cannot sin, God cannot lie, God cannot have sickness, curses, poverty. nonono...God is a holy and GOOD God, there is NO sickness, poverty, failure, curse, depression, hopelessness, pride, FEAR, in God.

another thought, as i look at our world today. i see God moving in a very powerful way thru His people. there are a total of 12000 ethnic people groups in the world today. each of these groups have e Gospel preached to them oredy. except for only <=1000 left since the past decades. truly we are living in the end times. e moment every one has heard about Jesus, every nation, tribe and tongue, the end will come.

u might ask, why does God allow wars, famines, failures to happen? the answer is simple, He did NOT allow them to happen. He showed the right way, ultimately, its MAN who choose their life. in simple english, man disobeyed and fallen astray. simple as that ;) in SIngapore, speeding is not allowed, but each year many die bcos of speeding related accidents. does that the government allowed speeding, OF COURSE NOT.

many times, God wants to come into our lives to give us a hope and a future, love, peace, acceptance, purpose, meaning, success, prosperity, good health, joy, freedom, a good life, but the sad thing is people dont want....and the blame God...its rather sad....:'( its like those drama serials. the right guy or girl comes into your life, but u rejected him/her. its not just saddening, its a waste...the worse thing is that you dont even know who that Person is.

trust GOd in all things, do not rely on urself, do not rely on the world because its been corrupted by sin and WILL fail you. Live life WITH God. one day w/o God is like a day w/o life itself...true meaning and excitement, joy in life is found in the Life-Giver...yea...:D

service with Rev Rick Shelton was great. he's really a dynamic speaker, really spoke out of conviction and from his heart. ;) was greatly impacted....yupz :D

well, this wk no BS....sobs....everytime its always e last lesson tt needs to be held back, lol!!! yup, im certainly lookin forward to Victorious Living class and EMERGE2005! yea...finally got the first 20 verses for the wordpower challenge :) man, im feeelin it again...dont ya pammie, shinny? hehe :D

really want to thank brother larry for sending me home after ministry earlier on ;) and brother Gavin who bought us beverages durin our training...thanks bro, i really appreciate it :) well, looks like everyday is gettin more and more exciting...;)

cant wait for e results, and lookin forward to year2!!! woohoo! can learn new things...so on..:D yup, indeed Jesus promised that we will be the head n not e tail, above and not beneath; blessed in our coming in, blessed in our going out :D

i miss overnight prayer meeting.....even though i feel You everyday, its not enough...I want more of You, more and more and more....;) living everyday and every second of my life with God is not enough...there's just so much to experience! =)

true, e world is fallen, corrupted, but its really in the midst of all these crisis, sadness, depression, poverty, sickness, meaninglessness, that i find LIFE ITSELF, those who trust in the Lord shall renew their strength, yupz ;)

thank you Jesus for making me life what it is today..even though i can see the world w/o God, i cant imagine MY life, without God, w/o ur love, peace, joy, success, power, miracles, breakthroughs, impossible realities, etc....

B r e a k t h r o u g h . . .Exciting events happened!

First of all, im thankful to God and am glad to say......I AM GOING FOR LIVE! RECORDING!!!! WWHAHAAHAHHAHHAH! :D yea...Indeed how can God say no to something like this? a whole church gathering for one purpose, to reach out to the masses through music, for His glory :) sooo happie....XD

jus woke up 40min ago......had overnight prayer meeting last night from 11pm-5am this morning. it was great. God really gave me the strength, as always, to really stay focused and on fire durin the entire session. heard news frm Ps Tan that next year, CHC is gonna move toa bigger place.....yea, we already have e building but Ps wouldnt tell us....sobs....lol, but he did say its gonna be 3x bigger!!!!! praise the Lord!!! =) keke...

towards e end of e prayer meeting, i cant rem who laid hands on me as i stood in front of e stage. ah! i tink it was ps derek, im nt sure, haha cos i was in God's presence at e moment, i didnt care who was around me, it was jus me and God, one on one :) and he laid hands on me and i felt e power of God flow through me...:) it was a great experience to once again light up my live and to give me a fresh new anointing to do the impossible, to be a world shaker and a history maker! yea :D man....it was really hard to sleep once e prayer meeting has ended cos ull wanna ray even more...;)

in God's presence there is love, hope, vision, purpose, LIFE, faith, boldness and zeal/passion. =) took a mercedez cab home, cos at 5am taxis were already queueing outside church!...yea, praise God. e driver was a brother in the Lord, he's really a nice guy to talk with. i jus noe we'll meet again one day...:)

also by 2008-2009, the decision by then regarding the new land for our stadium wouldve been finalised and indeed, nothing on earth, or in heaven or hell, can stop the church of the Living God!....yea.....we are gonna build a 8000-10000 seater stadium, centrally located, near MRT, food centres, restaurants, shopping malls, etc....sooo excited!....hehe.....:D

How are we gonna do it financially? God will provide as He has always provided for our church. indeed nth by the world nor by the Devil can stand, they will eventally perish but God's word indeed will nv pass away!....yea.....;) and what God has started, He will ber faithful to complete it....yupz...(:

cel grp was great too, has rachel, vivian, wayne and chien fern frm e110, as well as toby, peng's fren. man Toby is goooooooood, his guitar is like POWER...lols, well, he have a band s its understandable...haha, and e songs he composed and wrote by himself is jus soooo nice...:) well done man, come back next yr for talentime k? wahhahahaa....yes and im soo exited EMERGE2005 is comin! woohoo! the greatest youth event in singapore is finally here! and this yr's WordPower they added a preaching competition or sth like tt together with e standard wordpower quizzes.

well, rachel did messed up by bed and 'ripped open' my bolster...lol.......you ah......hahaha. my room was like hit by a tsunami....lol. wayne rachel and me were on MY bed and man i could really feel it was gonna give way.....hahahaha, i like wad quincy said, if it breaks then thank God lor cos u can get a new one.....hahahahahahha....nice one bro....lol :D

well, vivian came to my hse at 2pm....wooo, cel grp starts at 7!!! lol, haha, cos she jus came from SOT (sch of theology) class, it ended at 1 so she came over first lo. not bad, we had great praise n worship together...taught her some new chords and bla bla bla...haha. question: did she rem any of them? hmm........lol

yup. and service tom! yea....got 2 guest speakers, one adult one youth service.....i wanna go for both...hehe :D and im gonna get Hillsong United's new album!....:) finally i rem...haha XD

i like was vivian said: when she was tired (physically) she told me to let her use my bro's rm to pray. yup, thru e overnight prayer meeting, ive learnt that theres no room for tiredness, weariness, sadness, sickness, depression in God's presence. all these have to go. and its really in God's presence that we feel so recharged! ready to do wad man is not able to do bcos greater is He who is in me than he who is in e world....yea...:)

Interesting Facts of City Harvest Church Building at No. 1 Jurong West Street 91

1. Largest Column-Free Sanctuary
The main auditorium, with an area of 1,700 square metres, is the largest column-free church sanctuary in the Southeast Asian Peninsula.

2. Largest "Transfer Beam" in the World
6 floors of the building are resting on the "ceiling" of the column-free auditorium. The ceiling, technically known as a "transfer beam," is the largest ceiling structure in the world with an area of 3,500 square metres and a depth of 3 metres. Sato Kogyo and Bachy Soletanche jointly built it.

3. First Titanium-Clad Building in Asia
The front facade of the building is clad with the same titanium that wraps the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. The renowned museum is reputed to be the most beautiful contemporary architecture in the world today. According to the Swiss museum specialists, this building in Singapore is the first architecture with such titanium cladding in Asia.

4. Largest Church Building
From the lowest basement to the top of the steeple cross, the building is 54 metres in height, or equivalent to 18-20 floors of a HDB flat. This is the biggest church structure in the Southeast Asian Peninsula.

5. To prevent the two HDB flats (within 9 metres from the perimeter of the building) from collapsing, or even having a hairline crack, a 1-metre thick diaphragm wall was constructed all around the boundary of the property before excavation works were carried out.

The complexity of the construction was further intensified by the fact that the 4 basements had to be built "top-down" (constructing downward in the order of ground floor, basement 1, basement 2, basement 3 and then basement 4) rather than the conventional "bottom-up" approach.

6. Tallest Partition Panels in the World
The sanctuary can be compartmentalised or partitioned into 7 smaller halls. While working on this project, Goldbeck GmbH designed the tallest partitions or "operable walls" in the world with each panel in the sanctuary measuring at 11.5 metres in height. (The previous tallest panel measured at only 9.5 metres.)

7. First Broquard Fountain in Southeast Asia
Mr. Jerome Broquard from Los Angeles, USA, is widely recognised as the number one fountain maker in the world. Mr. Broquard is the designer of the fountain wall at the front of the building and this assignment is his first fountain project in Southeast Asia. (Japan has the only other Broquard fountain in Asia.)

8. Largest Stainless Steel Church Cross in the World
At 12 metres high and 800 kg in weight, the stainless steel cross is the largest in the world.

9. Largest Sound Console in the World
Mr. Steven Le Roux, the sound and lighting consultant of the Sydney Opera House, provided consultancy services to City Harvest Church with relation to acoustics of the main sanctuary. The auditorium is fitted with a 60-channel sound console, which is the largest and only one of its size in the world.

10. Mr. Dan Hess, a former top stage designer from Christie's Auction House in New York, is the designer of the auditorium's stage.

11. The front lawn of the building has a reflecting pool and a putting green for golf enthusiasts.

12. Most Advanced Fire Evacuation System in the World
The fire evacuation public announcement system, designed by Klotz Digital, is widely touted to be the most advanced and efficient in the market today. They designed this specially for the new Munich Airport which is due to be opened in 2003. The church was approached by Klotz Digital to be the first architecture in the world to be fitted with such a system.

13. Largest Church Donation Campaign in Southeast Asia
The land purchase and building construction costs a total of $47.6 million. This amount is raised locally and entirely from City Harvest Church's own congregation in Singapore over a period of 7 years. Only 45% of the congregation are working adults, the rest are mainly schooling youths, housewives and retirees.

14. Largest Busing Programme in Southeast Asia
Every weekend, 406 bus trips are made to ferry our members.

today's service was great...got new praise song composed by the Creative Ministry in out church. YEA! so excited, few weeks frm now our church is gonna release our P&W ALBUM!!!!! wooohoo! and theres also gonna be a live! recording, but entry is by coupon only as there are lots of ppl...yup :) so excited....

today Ps talked about the Presence of God. -> Dun look for healing, look for the Healer. Dun look for life, look for the Life-Giver like Rev Benny Hinn said =)
God does not travel through methods or style, He travels through the heart.
If you want a God-result, you must do it God's way.
Never think you're better than God.

A good idea may come to pass, but a God-idea WILL come to pass.

The use the Sword of the Spirit (His Word) effectively, we have to:
1. HEAR the Word
2. READ the Word
3. STUDY the Word
4. MEMORIZE the Word
5. MEDITATE on the Word

God will exalt you before your enemies (the world), God does not show His power privately but publicly.

About PRAISE:
Praise is always loud, vocal, expressive
Praise quietly = oxymoron e.g. Chicken rice w/o chicken or ice-cream stew, etc.
Praise allows God to build His throne. -> It means to sit down, His presence remain with You.

4. Lifting of hands - determines lifting of hearts

Praise = 'Halal" -> Halelujah which means to celebrate

Never look down on people who are willing to praise God with all their heart, soul and MIGHT. Result: like Michal in 2 Samuel 6, she became 'barren'; which means to be unproductive, unfruitful till the day she died.

Helping out in JAMS Church (intellectually disabled) after service was great. And more than tt it was really an eye opener for me. It helps me to love people the way God would love them. :)

exams finally over yea....yup now wait for results. really want to thank God for being by my side, bringing to memory the things I studied...yup 'i studied', God doenst believe in cheating in exams too :D he can bring to memory what ive learnt but becos God is God of righteousness, he wont give me 'hidden'/'divine' tactics or 'tips' to help me cheat my way through.....hahaha, not tt He's not able to, even if He could give me divine/hidden knowledge, its just not right to cheat myself, yupz :)

jus received news tt my sound ministry training is postponed to next week, overnight prayer meeting too on tues....why!?!?!?! lols, wei she mo? hahas, but THEN....got PA tom after service....waaa, lols. free become not free..lols, no idea when's e next time im free to go out wif my cel grp....:( sobs....

cel grp was great yesterdae...yupz....celebrated jasmine's birthdae. and GOOD NEWS! Evangelyn my ex cel grp leader is promoted to one of our ZONE SUPERVISORS! yea....well done Evan, hehe, wad ever God started He will be faithful to complete....yea ;) congrats! =)
