5/12, Random post
5/12 has started and i told God. im sorry about yesterday and i'll make it up to you. prayed for 2 days now..read His word everyday from 2 days now. ill do my best to keep it going for another 4 days.
erm..2 days because i started during my QT last night. haha.
when you do something wrong, dont be afraid to admit it. i have some issues and weaknesses myself. i mean, as a guy, im sure ure aware of some of the challenges we as guys face. and im not gonna live in denial and say its not true.
when i slip and do something wrong, i dont go running away hiding from God. i come to God boldly and i say,
"God, I have sinned. Deal with me as You will..teach me, mold me, renew my mind, change my heart, I come to You, just as I am, knowing that You will help me and You will change me.."
thats what initative is, thats what responsibility is, thats what accountability is. you are not afraid of how others would say or think, you do it, because you are obedient, because you love God.
and in BS we learnt..true repentance, comes with the act of restitution. another reason i fast, is not only for breakthrough, but to make up for lost time.
sometimes we get too busy, and we say.."Okay, God, i will read your word tonight, i will spend time with you tonight, etc." but you didnt and end up dozing off..like me..hahaha..
thats why im fasting. i say, "God, im serious with You, i dont want you to feel as if im cheating your feelings or cheating you of your time, i know i failed to do what i intended, thats why im doing this to make it up to you..because no matter how busy, I still love You and I will show You just how much I love you" :)
so yea..back to my 5/12, its not to show how spiritual i am, i know i have not arrived. im just being a man..i take responsibility over my own actions, and i dont care what others think or say. im not interested in doing the good things..im interested in doing the right things even if it costs me something!
The proof of your desire is in your pursuit.
Dont say you want breakthrough if you have no intention of going for it.
Just say "I hope for breakthrough"..will do O_O
But if you really WANT breakthrough. Then do something about it. You can hope till e cows come home..if a cow can fit your home. LOL. but when you WANT something, its different than HOPING for something ;)
