Celgrp, Thoughts (Long Post, you can choose to read it or not)

CG was 3 hours today.

I totally agree on adam, we dont have to be like wayne's cg, we dont have to be like rhonda's cg, we dont even have to be like any other cg, we just learn from them, and yet we can be ourselves.

I mean, who in the right mind will have a 3hr long cg?

But we waited..and waited..and waited..and God showed up.

When you feel dry and you dont sense the presence of God anymore, its not because you've done something wrong, its also not because God is playing games with you, its because you simply dont have the discipline to wait long enough!

You're always so busy, always occupied, with things in your heart, things in your mind. When you come to God, you come full, and not empty. You come out of duty, not out of delight.

You're trying really hard, but things dont work out. Why? Because God's empowerment is not there. You are an imperfect person, living in a fallen world! What are the chances of things working out..at all? VERY LITTLE.

What Adam said is so true.

The power of God is doesnt flow from your power.
The power of God flows from your powerlessness.

And today was such a day for me. Im tired. Everyone's tired, its the end of the week, and yet we came hungry, we came with a desire, a longing to touch the heart of God. Just one touch from His garment, and we had the faith that we would be made whole.

I was literally dozing off, I was struggling to even keep my eyes open. I have nothing left, no energy, no presence, no desire, just empty and totally surrendered.

But yet I still served, still loved, still pressed in, and look at the results? God came in such power.

During ministry session, Adam had the lights turned off, the chords were taken away from me, the only thing that kept me going throughout the cg was gone. Not only do I have zero energy, now all help was taken away in an instant.

Message was moving in the Spirit. Something so basic, yet we always neglect.

I dont know how I did it, but I did it, not because of who I am, but because of who He is. I slipped the wrong fret a couple of times, partly cause I couldnt see. But I realised, whenever I try to find the position, I will slip, whereas everytime I just let go..and play by faith, I will never slip chord.

During that 1hr ministry session, many were in tears, kneeling, prostrating, just soaked in the presence of God. Yet it is those who wait on the Lord, they shall renew their strength. It was just awesome! I think you guys did great! =))

One hour was long..waiting was tiring, for me at least..but God has never let us down.

Everyone was just praying, prophesying, giving a word of wisdom, word of knowledge, moving in the spirit. You've seen and heard ps during a leaders' altar call, suddenly stop at one guy and speak a word into that guy.

Well, Adam did that 4-5 times. He spoke into multiple members' lives! One by one.

Its just amazing, even though we only had like..what? 8-9 people? But..yet..

The presence of God moves through an atmosphere of worship.
But the power of God moves through an atmosphere of faith.

Though the group was small, its not the size that matters, its the quality that matters.

Yet Adam said something so true:

You can have spirituality, you can fast and pray, you can have presence and anointing, gifts and talents, you can even have a good attitude and decent character, and yet..you can have ZERO OBEDIENCE.

You can give a lot, you can serve a lot, you can love God a lot, have passion for souls, and yet if you're not willing to OBEY, submit yourself to God, to people in authority, you arent gonna go very far.

When God sends you, you go.
When God tells you, you do.
When your leaders says something, whether you like it or not, obey!
Even if its blind obedience, at least its obedience made in faith!

God doesnt really care who you obey, or what you obey, what matters is that you are a person of obedience! Even if its the wrong person, God can turn it around. Even though what your leader says or does is wrong, yet you obey because its the right thing to do, God can turn that around.

God is asking, can you trust Me more?
Can you love Me more?
"You think I cant change your leader?"
"You think I cant change your circumstance?"

If you cant even trust simple obedience, how are you going to trust Him for miracles?

Life is short, opportunities come and go. Either you take it or you leave it. I liked Jolene's story, on how a man was drowing and he prayed for a ship. One boat came, he refused, "I thought I prayed for a ship? Not a boat!"

Another came, few went by him, but he was stubborn, he wanted a ship not a boat.

And finally, he didnt make it and drowned, so when he went up, he asked God, "Why didnt you send a ship?" God answered, "I sent many boats, but you refused to take them."

God may not give you what you ask for, but cant you even trust Him to give you what you need? And when things dont work out, we all complain and grumble and make a fuss over things. Yet when God opened a door, you simply ignored it.

Its like a kid, who wants his hamburger.

You think his dad doesnt wanna share his burger? Of course he does! Yet when the dad offered the kid fries, the kid refused, he only wants the burger.

If he had accepted the fries, he wouldve gotten BOTH the fries and the burger!

So..are you a kid, or a real disciple? Do you complain and grumble just because Daddy God doesnt give you the ice-cream flavor that you wanted?

Or are you going to rise and trust and obey, for theres no other way?

Adam or thad will often remind me of words like..

"Why think so much? Why ask so much questions? JUST DO IT!" haha.

Imagine a fishing boat.

The kid is once again with his dad. The little kid's rod started shaking. His dad says, "Come on son, reel in the bait now."

"Why?"
"Because the fish is biting.."
"Can I reel out instead?"
"Can I just pull the rod backwards instead of turning that tiring wheel?"

STOP ASKING SO MANY QUESTIONS! LOL.

Please...come on, wake up, welcome to the real world, you CANT reason God. If you can reason, then why call it faith? What makes you any different from people outside?

They work hard too.
They have strong families and relationships too.
They have talents, gifts and abilities too.

What makes you any different?

If you just wanna sit around, relax a bit, mind your own business, do your own thing, you arent gonna go very far. Either you continue sitting till the cows come home, or you get up and do something with your life!

If you wait for perfect conditions, you'll never get anything done.
