Celgrp, Service, Fellowship, Encounter, Revelation

Had 3 encounters today.

Celgrp was a little different. We had a "Couch celgrp today". Haha. I dont know if Adam planned it, but I knew only when Adam announced it just before cg started.

All of us sat on the couch..some on the chairs, in a circle round the coffee table in front of the TV in thad's house. And God just moved.

Where I see God moves, I move.

I think as a cgg, I must be able to hear from God and to be quick to act. As I was playing, HS was speaking to me throughout the meeting.

"Andrew, wait.."
"Andrew, play take me deeper intro.."
"Andrew, slow down..."
"Andrew, go up a little..."

"Andrew, keep it there..."
"Andrew, stop fidgeting, I know your hand hurts...you gotta hang in there..."

"Okay, now slow down..."
"Start plucking..."
"Now strum a little..."
"Go down some more..."
"Get ready to change song..."

"No not yet...wait for my signal..."
"Okay, change song now to Hosanna...start off slow..."
"Dont worry, you can do it..the chords are A, B, E, C#m, you'll figure out the rest yourself."
"Keep it up..keep it going.."
"Standby to bring up.."
"Wait for adam to speak...coming...coming...go up now...okay, now bring down again..."

And He just kept speaking and speaking..it felt like I was on comms haha..on the Holy Spirit comms. =)) CG shared a lot of things. One of the things that kept on burning in my heart was what Thad said about being "Blank" before God.

Its about emptying yourself before God..
Yielding to the HS a 100%..
Putting aside everything..and everything means everything..

And I began to remembered..

The degree that God can move in your life is the degree of your surrender to Him and to the HS.

I think E420 is a really special celgrp. Most cg have their usual games, PnW, testimony, word, offering, announcements.

I dont know if other cg does it..

But E420 is the first cg Ive been in..that has a 'Lights off' prayer meeting and long worship, where we literally sang in a room without the lights.

E420 is the first cg where the members sharing, is the sermon itself, instead of just the cgl all the time. There were times Adam didnt need to preach, we just shared and that alone is the sermon. And somehow it flowed by God's grace.

E420 is the first cg, where the leader can learn from the members and we all learn from each other. We have many sharing and discussion sessions. I like celgrps that share.

Not all of us can be a leader, but we can all be a minister.

Last week we had popiah party, this week we had a couch celgrp. One day, I believe we will have our own band playing for PnW and have our first stand-up, live praise n worship. Just need keyboard and drums. haha. And im willing to learn keyboard.

MAB learnt piano first before he learnt guitar too okay??? HAHAHA.

But I think what Adam said is so true. Many cgs are dying just to get one celgrp guitarist, and here we are..blessed with 3 good ones, all with the desire to learn and the desire to serve. We simply have too much, overflowing.

I mean, apart from God..what can we say? God is good, God is faithful.

But there's always a reason why. Its really our attitudes. All of us, started out with nothing. Its our character and the grace of God that brought us to where we are.

We cant confess God to be everything in our lives if we ourselves dont come to the place where we are empty of ourselves.

In AFV, Ps Aries was sharing, we all only have one 'slot' for a spirit. We are spirit, soul, body. One 'spirit slot'. Either we put ourselves in that slot, or we put God. We cant have two.

Cg ended with an encounter..as we laid hands and prayed. Presence and the power of God saturated the place. I was tired, and in pain, but I knew it was worth it. All of us have to make sacrifices one point or another.

No one said the christian walk is a bed of roses..even roses have thorns.

Your idea of a perfect life wont come..as long as ure here on the earth.
Your idea of a perfect partner wont come..
Your idea of a perfect relationship wont come..
Your idea of the perfect business strategy wont come..
Your idea of the perfect uni/course wont come..

But..

You can have the God-idea, the God-relationship, the God-business, the God-education. Leaning on the HS every step of the way, Ps Tan made it very clear. We will only do, what God does, say what He says. Everything in the natural has been birthed and incubated in the spiritual, through prayer and fasting.

Service was awesome. Presence of God was so strong, especially when I heard Dr Cho's testimony of how his son died, went to heaven, met Jesus and then came down again.

For the benefit of those who missed this week's service..

Dr Yonggi Cho, senior pastor of the largest church in history, 800,000 members, was having a leaders' meeting in a stadium when he received an urgent call that his son was sick and that his son's life was in jeopardy.

Upon arrival, he prayed very hard, he prayed and he prayed..but the son died anyway.

Not wanting to accept the fact that he stood there, watched his own son grow cold and passed on, and could do nothing about it..Dr Cho prayed and cried out all the more. He even told God, "God..I will not leave this room until you give me back my son!"

He continued praying and faith began to stir up inside of him, he clapped his hands 3 times and shouted, "Samuel, Samuel, Samuel..in the name of Jesus, get up and walk!"

And his son stood up and was alive again.

But the amazing thing was..what Sam said to his dad.

He was telling him how he went to heaven, and he met all the saints in Dr Cho's church who passed away generations before him. And he heard them calling out to him, "Look! Here comes the pastor's son.." LOL.

And he met Jesus in heaven, but Jesus took him by his arm and said, "Sorry but I dont think I can keep you here...because your father wouldnt let you go. So Im taking you back..."

Wow...just wow!

With Dr Cho praying so hard and persistent, even Jesus himself had to say "no, I cant let Dr Cho down". Jesus saw his faith. And He felt compelled to return the son back to Dr Cho, why? Because I believe its out of love. =)

He probably knew that Dr Cho would literally stay in the room for the rest of his life, waiting for his son to come back to life. Jesus couldnt afford to let him down. That man Dr Cho, sacrificed a lot of his life to serve God.

He's already near his retirement age and yet he's still more in love and more passionate about God than most of the youths here are.

How many of us are really persistent and having the same kind of faith to believe things for our school, career or our family? How many of us actually had the faith to believe God for something great? How many of us actually have specific prayer?

"God bless me."
And then when He doesnt you get all upset, "God why didnt you bless me?"
And God says, "I did..I sent rain when the weather was hot, I gave you air to breathe, food to eat, water to drink and clothes to wear."

He has not, because he asks not.
Even if he asks, he's asking out of the will of God.

So..yea..had my second encounter during service.

After service went JP to makan. And Pam had holy laughter from Pohchoo lol. After that walked around, accompanied Thad to buy his box for the birthday present. Then went to Toys-R-Us. I miss buying toys haha. I used to collect them when I was young.

And in those days, there wasnt such thing as a remote controlled boat YET. I saw one and man..the next generation is so blessed =D haha. I think one of these days Im gonna go buy those DIY robots where you have to fix yourself. lol. Those really big ones. But they cost a bomb :x

Anyway, I returned home.

I was tired. On the verge of concussing, and I decided to take out my guitar and started playing. Presence of God came in less than 5 minutes. I began to have an intimate talk with the HS and I was just tearing and tearing...it was awesome.

They say guys dont cry.
But I say only the dead dont cry!
Jesus was a man, and he cried. So dont insult him!

Anyway, thats not the point lol..the point is that God showed up 3 times in a day. When Im at my most tired state, or most stressed period, God always shows up the most and the strongest.

It all boils down to one thing:

You are married to God.
Start living like a real couple.
