N387, Exposure
CG was awesome if you ask me haha. This is my second time leading during ministry, when Huiru was laying hands. And Yuxuan was telling me, this is the first time there's laying on of hands in year 2008, right when Im there.
Im just left speechless.
Im getting comments like, "Hey you're not bad for a first-timer in our cg, you flow really well"...well...what can I say? God deserves all the glory and all the praise. Im just so amazed the way God moves.
For the first time, I cut my finger on a guitar string :x Well it didnt bleed, but theres a red mark there. It wasnt on the fingertip, its on the soft skin on the sides of my finger. =x I had that injury while I was barring a chord. Hurts like hell lol. Even though I was perspiring, even though my finger felt like splitting..I was happy.
To be able to serve other celgrps and really open up my eyes to different cgs and different flows. Sometimes we dont appreciate what we have right now until we're exposed to something different. I mean, when you're there, you really appreciate Adam and other members, sometimes we take what we have for granted.
We are really blessed, E420, we are. Really. The kind of praise n worship we have, the kind of excitement we have, the kind of fervency we have, etc, all these would not have been our lifestyle if not for the sacrifices of everyone.
Dont think we are just another celgrp, we are NOT. Well, at least to me, I really treasure what Adam's been doing. =D
Well..N387 are just a great bunch of people. They may have a few new members here and there, but thats what makes every cg unique, with its own variety of people. =) And every great cg has a great leader. =D
I think I have 'guitar tuning' phobia LOL. Since the incident where I broke someone's string while tuning the guitar knob, since then Im cautious, EXTREMELY cautious haha..if not almost dare not tune other people's guitar lol..esp when there's a 'squeeeeak' sound. Ill freak out and just freeze there hahaha.
I got to know Yuxuan and he's in choir, now a celgrp helper, he stays in boon lay too haha. Yay! MRT kaki! LOL! His sharing has really blessed me a lot. Its one thing to have our life story, its another thing to hear other cg's stories, how they got together, and stuff like that.
Really, I think exposure is really important. You grow more when exposed to various environments. Its a big world out there. In this context, its a big church out there. I may not be there during big days..sadly..I may not be there during most of the outreaches and camps..
But I really thank God playing in their celgrps kinda makes it up haha.
Im hungry..to know more people.
Im hungry..for anointing.
Im hungry..to know more leaders.
Im hungry..to hear every celgrp's testimony and life story.
Gosh Im hungry for everything! HAHA!
The incense of worship without the fire of passion is nothing but dust.
