FOP Day 2, Ministry
met up with timo and el for lunch today at PS mac. and about the same time, we bumped into E406 haha. we sat at e same table eventually. lol..they goin cg, we goin FOP. haha.
anyway, met up with Pranee at kallang then went down to SIS together. she was held back but its okay :D i was sitting somewhere around e train stn and i remembered what a friend told me about day 1's atmosphere. it was so bad. and so i got worried, i mean, when you are someone who brings down e presence of God during cg meeting, u get sensitive to the things of God and what is going on in e realm of e spirit.
im not saying that im the only one, but all of us have a part to play in building atmosphere. and so i prayed and nobody told me, i decided to take e step of faith, took e initiative and got my cg to pray as well because there's power in agreement. and..haha i really trust that u guys did cus today was awesome! :D
thx Pranee for helping me get the 'tag guy' to pass me e tag haha..if not i couldnt go into e hall LOL. b4 service we were briefed for 30minutes and introed the new crew. prayed. and during service, particularly praise n worship, Don Moen and Delirious had their own crew so we just monitored the levels and the overall, announcements, prayer and such. and their crew is one-man show! =)
oh ya, pranee intro-ed me to the watermelon soya bean from Mr Bean. haha..i must try the honeydew soya one day :D its only $1.80 haha. the comms during svc was jammed so many times lol. and the comms were busy busy busy throughout the service! and a bit during e sermon lol. and half of e time, i cant hear what they are saying cus its so LOUD and we are like, under the speakers and in front of the bass!
when delirious BOM BOM BOM, my jacket also BOM BOM BOM. it was jumping! if i were to put a glass cup with water, itll be like e jurassic park..BOM BOM BOM, and the ripples..haha.
i tink the water will also splash out lol! my whole body was being BOMed haha. and then everyone was screaming into the comms..one ear, BOM BOM BOM, e other ear, *Someone having deliverance O_O
also heard sabrina and priya sharing about their 'weird encounters' with people during FOP yest haha..i was frozen :pp
e sermon was great! even though i heard it before, but the revelation is always fresh. we dont live on yesterday's revelation. there is always a word, for a time and a season. and i felt today was good. like thad said, how come today so funny, the sermon was about this and that, but he suddenly gave an altar call. and the amazing thing is people got saved :D
haha in the most unlikely of circumstances, God works in ways we cannot see, like the song :D u cant expect God. thats one thing ive learned. and another thing ive caught in this msg was:
God sleeps so that you can wake up.
it really hit me, i mean, i had this revelation sometime ago, but particularly for today, it was fresh manna to me. after service we had one hr debrief and some admin matters all the way till midnight. and we heard lots of strange stories like the guitar level suddenly disappeared. ps kong went up, how come no sound, but everything was on, and all that..sounds like some ghost story haha..but it was fun..the fun when we begin to learn our own mistakes.
what is destination without the journey, the journey should be e most exciting part. shared cab home with Hui Ru (i think i might spelt wrongly haha) the new crew, first time seeing her cus she's saturday (JW) crew..and also went back with Elvin. all jurong west area haha..St 42-9x.
im tired but im happy. and im definitely excited for tmr :D on the other hand..assignments to submit on monday! nooooooooo T_T.
talk about standing in the gap between the living and the dead. THATS WHERE I AM NOW! lol. i stand in e gap between God and projects O_O i was talkin to thad jus now about how come pam and some ushers were carrying that strange 'bag' everywhere they go. then a creative spark came into my head: "Ahh! A bomb diffusal kit!" okay, not funny..LOL.
pohchoo today also very lame..early in the morning we smsed about fainting and first aid. so random la! lol. okay, the 'zee'monster is calling me..haha will blog again tmr =)
