Service 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 compilation.
the sermons are more or less the same. on our holy calling, heavenly calling and our high calling.
on how we are created, formed, redeemed and called.
on how we have been saved, we are being saved and we are going to be saved.
the process of redemption, sanctification and glorification.
Jesus is the only way, we all know that. NOTE THAT He is the WAY, not the GATE! So knowing who Jesus is is not enough, going to church is not enough, we have to walk in His footsteps, become more Christlike, and also to embrace the His resurrection power at the same time not despising hardships/trials n tribulations. we are to rejoice in His sufferings.
most christians in e world would rather have selective christianity. they focus on faith, power, blessings, but not on the tribulations, testings and sufferings. if u wanna be a child of God, if u wanna be a disciple, then uve got to embrace the ENTIRE GOSPEL!
when we are in our calling, we are happy, we are protected, we are blessed, we have supernatural intervention, provision, so much more. we become all we are to become in our lives. theres such a great sense of satisfaction and peace and joy...=)
i dont know my calling, but like wad ps ulf said, its not just abt knowing ur calling, but its in the PREPARATION, in the FULFILLING of ur calling wadever it may be ;) i do not know mine because im still in my preparation stage. ^^ there will be a time of visitation (one day we WILL be LIKE Christ...), a time of glorification. we all have an individual calling as well as a collective calling that is to be fulfilled in the body of Christ.
life is more than what are we gonna do after we graduate, its about wad are we gonna do when we die. and no one likes to die, because one day everything we do, good AND bad, will be exposed during judgement. but we have been cleansed by Jesus, and because of His grace, He made us righteous in His sight and we dun have to live a guilty life, but a happy and peaceful life, blessed and not cursed. we want God to say, 'well done, good and faithful servant." and not "i do not know you"...
basically, this week for me's been great. so blessed to have ps ulf come. EVERY SERVICE is more of a move of the Holy Spirit, an impartation. the sermon is just to stir up our faith to let God move as well as to wait on the Lord...=)
so here's wad happened this weekend and how God moved:
Service 1 - Prophecy (unusual favor on CHC frm the nation; how CHC will be a magnet), invitation to the calling (public), 2 word of knowledge to 2 individuals.
service 2 - invitation to calling (individual/collective), gave a Word on our new building, altar call.
service 3 - pastor's course graduation. prayed for the graduates. they were touched and fell under e power of God.
service 4 - renewing of first love, deep worship (congregation bowed on their knees for 20-30min jus loving God and enjoying His presence).
service 5 - prophecy on praise and worship thatll bring forth the power of healing, CHC with greater anointing for healing, prayed for the breaking on hardened hearts, many touched by e presence of God as we waited on e Lord.
service 6 - gave word on new building, invitation to our calling (collective as a church), prophesized on the dispatching of angels as we begin to pray for our new building, on how we will have the land and God's angels will prepare e place for us.
ps ulf also shared 3 stories/encounters:
1. how he was riding a bike when he was young, and a car knocked him and sent he and he bike flying. e landed on the hood, spun a few times, shattered the glass. and he felt no pain and was not hurt at all. because a SPLIT SECOND before he was knocked, his spirit man cried out the name of Jesus and he shouted out "JESUS!" before he got knocked and THAT name saved and protected him. satan tried to kill Him, but God protects His people.
2. he was an interpreter for a powerful man of God. at e end of THAT service he was in, e man of God blessed and prayed for ps ulf "...May God send His angels before you..." then as ps ulf drove in an OLD OLD car (long time ago) on a bumpy dirt-road, praising God. he realised he was going at 70 km/h but his foot wasnt on e accelerator w/o even knowing, because he was so occupied with worship. then he remembered wad e man of God prayed..."may God send His angels before you". immediately the car literally lighted up as it was being 'pushed' under e night sky.
ps ulf was young in e Lord, he began to leave the realm of worship and started analysing wad had happened. when he did that, the light faded and the car began to decelerate and lost its 'pushing' power.
3. on how one day he was preaching on Isreal to a church and in e middle of e service he spoke in e fire of God to the people. someone came up to him and said he saw in e spirit:
a door opened behind ps ulf -> a golden carpet rolled out -> and there were PILLARS OF FIRE that engulfed along e carpet in one straight line -> the pillars of fire 'morphed' into angelic beings and HS said, "these are my GENERALS and they will take this message to the ends of the earth", e message on Isreal coming back to the Lord. the people of God was important to God.
ps ulf received a fax (i think) frm a couple in aussie/newzealand saying how they were blessed by the message, when ps ulf didnt even preach in their town. then he remembered the vision of the "Generals of God'' sending the message to e ends of e earth.
THOUGHTS
so excited for this week's BS on e Tabernacle. and next wk is Phil Pringle! yeah! =) and (quoting frm ps derek) ''Triple-C'' is coming to lead praise and worship :D haha so cool, 'triple-C'. :D so many things, so much excitement, and 4 more weeks before we move to EXPO!
but of cos thats only temporary. our final destination is our 10,000 seater cultural icon that'll place CHC on e WORLD MAP, and 50,000 and even 100,000 people! we are not in e business of bulding buildings, we in e business of building lives! =))
more than just excitement, its about the Word of God and the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit. i remembered durin one of e svces ps ulf said that God likes to prove He is God. each time people say its impossible, God will make another miracle with is even more impossible until, people have nothing to say, but glorify God :))
