My ministry is like an action movie!
went 2 sch learnt life science today! very interesting, our DNA is 6 feet long. learnt a lot of cheemology....haha! life science has made me get excited over God even more ;)
today's ministry was very thrilling, scary, exciting, weird! lol...
3 things happened today in short...i almost died twice and i really died once LOL. well, reached 610pm instead of 6pm. checked room booking to see if there was anything on. NOTE: i informed my IC and she told me something abt a replacement...so i assumed.
to my horror when i reached L4, the class was there with the speaker! and no one set the system up! waaaaaa~! thanks to wei xiang we managed to chiong up with the BS trolley and set it up at lightning speed. well, not exactly hahaha. also setup rooftop's wireless transmitter.
checked childrens' church to see if all was well, then at 8am, service started and class has ended. so can relax for now. went to eat with alan. I ATE TERIYAKI CHICKEN RICE!! YAY!! so badly missed....hahahahas!
really wanna thank alan for lendin me 4 bucks, cus he said its better than me goin to the ATM, felt really bad....when since alan insisted that i dun need to pay back. there was nothing i could do. really thank God for the people in my life :))
its been liek ages since i last ate such good food ^^ yumyum....XD now the main event starts. had some problems with walkie....fungus and all, but its not a big problem. jus change. watched a bit of e service in video room. after that was a period of time when i was literally going to and fro from B4 to L4 around 3-4 times...lol
3 things that happened that left an 'impact'...haha but before that u mus noe that in order for me to get to B4 frm L4 or rooftop, i have to take lift 1, 2, 3 or 4, 5, 6 down to L1/lobby. then walk to the Riveria take lift 7, 8 down to backstage B4. so heres wad happened:
1) while waiting for lift 7 and 8 in B4 backstage to get to L1, was kinda surprised to see 5 security camping at e lift. as i stood there they gave me the 'look'. then i was stun tio, then after a few sec i realised the lift coming down was pastor's lift where ps kong will be in with his personal 'bodyguard'. cus no one was allowed near pastor.
so i saw their faced and i received 'revelation'...hahahaha! so i 'siamed' e area wait for ps to be on stage then i went up...lol...*phew
2) when i came down from L4 to L1, then frm L1 to B4 via lift 7 and 8, i was goin to go to the sound storeroom to change walkie batt. then i opened the Artistes' Room door and lo and behold i almost interrupted a prayer session. and guess who was there...?
pastor yong (all the praise/worship leaders), the singers, musicians, etc. and some security. they were gettin ready to go on stage to lead PnW. heng no one saw me and i quickly exited the room lol!....*phew...again! lols....0.0
3) the third thing that happened i couldnt escape anymore LOL. i had to carry this 15-20KG METAL BRIEFCASE or wadever u call it. its locked and contains speakers, cables, transmitters, receivers, etc....who knows whats inside....
i was supposed to carry it frm B4 to L1 then frm L1 to L4. it has wheels so i thought it would be more convenient cus can pull/push. WHO KNOWS...as i was abt to enter lift 7 and 8 again, this time e security stopped me say, the lift's reserved cus pastor kong was leavin e stage. i almost fainted sia..
no choice...the only fastest way to get the stuff to L4 is via e stairs. so i carried this huge metal box around 20KG up the stairs! may God have mercy on my 'chiu'...lol u will never know what breathless is until you carried that 'bombcase' frm B4 to L4...service jus ended dats why lifts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 all full!
when i reached e top, man 2 arms, shoulder to elbow...feels like its gonna come off! lol. and i was literally breathless u wanna inhale oso cant inhale much air...heart pumping as if it was gonna blow Bali up again...lolx =p
finished at around 1145pm. debriefed and took merz cab home with victor, shuxia and lynn. so comfortable i missed my turn to my house LOL! nevertheless....great day it was. praise God for 19,970 people!!! :D 30 more to go people!...hehe. the finishing line is just in front ;)
