EMERGE week!...

this week's the best week ive ever had in my life. man, every year EMERGE is getting better and better. =) heres wad happened:

day01 - sch was frm 9-6 but managed to leave at 515pm. by e time i reached church lvl1-B4 was full, side staircase 5 and 6 oso full, lvl1-3 full, so i ended up queueing at lvl4 outside cafe. after waiting for like 20-30min, we started moving lol.

but e moment we reached e main audi doors. it shut in front of our very eyes. T_T usher said "sry pls go to the overflow room, e main audi including e steps are full, theres no more space to fit anyone else." so we took e lift up to lvl4. who knows on e way up, we stopped at lvl1, then another usher in e lobby came to us and said, "im sorry the overflow room has overflowed, pls wait outside e lobby while we lay chairs"...-.-" oh man....my heart was broken lol...crushed.....

e lobby was e worse place man...hot, stuffy, esp after everyone came from staircase and the smell...whoa...lol cant clap, cant make noise (cheer and shout, etc...), sing must sing softly, cant pray too loudly cos its late and e residents are slypin...man...it was like being chained lol

missed e talentime and e XBOX challenge tt was played on our 'bigscreen' LED board, hehe. but e night session was great too. despite all the discomfort, presence of GOd was there to change lives x) on tt night, Ps played the song "once i have turned my face..." on e guitar, and man, every year when he plays a song, presence of God would come like a mighty river. my heart melt, with the love of God and tears began to flow.....it was e happiest moment of my life :D

PARADE OF SCHOOLS was a BLAST. different secondary sch clusters, poly clusters, jc/ci, sim/smu clusters, ite cluster etc....great performance guys ;) although e stunts was not as extreme as last year when we had someone who leaped off the stage, do a mid-air stunt and land on e 'human net' BELOW the stage lol

after svc met aaron and confirmed the meeting time for my IS-ENV consultation. iand i tot i was e first lol, little did i noe, that a group had oredy booked e 8am-830am slot lol. so i booked the 830am slot haha....glad to noe such a nice IS teacher as a brother...x) he always treat us food durin claz, i feel so bad...wanted to repay him but he say dun need.....thanks loads bro...:D

day02 - missed preaching challenge....wayne was preaching...and HE CAME UP THE TOP MALE, NON CGL contestant! congrats bro! =) haha ps kong even commended him saying he's real good looking lol....aiyo...wayne ah.....hhahahaahahaaa jkjk...lol he also said sth that once he had e anointing, itll be a double package lol. x) but, nevertheless...well done dude! ;) missed wordpower finals too lol...

oh man...for THREE YEARS! im gonna miss so much from emerge...somemore next year we'll be having it at the EXPO...lol day 2 was great too, dunno y keryn, shin, carmen, adam wanted the be the FIRST to queue for overflow room! lol....we could actualli make it to main audi lor...lol *sigh...but anywaez...i had a great time x)

man we really have the best dancers in CHC! lol. the trailer challenge was impressive as well...=) great skills...:) well, above all at least we sat FRONT ROW in overflow childrens' church room lol..haha.

it was soo exciting and life changing...:) after service went with shin to e busstop, and met pamela in e same bus lol..hieeeeeee......haha

day03 - today im down with a flu. a stomachache b4 service started. but thank God the moment God's presence came...my nose was cleared and my stomachache, relieved. indeed, no sickness, poverty, failure can stand in e presence of God ;)

was QUEUEING in e childrens' church room cos chinese church room full, and lvl3-B4 packed. tts like 7 floors!!!!! omg...lol ha ha. NOTE: e childrens' church rm was jus a HOLDING area for e time being. the the front of e queue sat at e back, which i was with Tracy...while e later ones sit at e front of e rm, so tt when we leave to go down to B4, the earlier ones (sitted at back) can leave first. :D

but in e end, e holding area became a permanent overflow room cos B4 full! lol...*sigh. NOT FAIR! lol i wanna sit in front!!!!! nooooooooooo......lol i wan to complain! hahaha...no wonder ps keep on emphasizin e first shall be last and e last first lol!!! haahahahahahaaa....not bad eh? lol

well, despite my sickly body, i praised GOd with all my might. i really love the indonesian song sung by Sidney...im tryin to get e lyrics and chords for it currently...hehe...XD the RESULTS ARE FINALLY OUT! secondary sch cluster....SOUTH zone won!! and for tertiary cluster...NTU won! lol....wad a turn of events...it seemed SIM/SMU was leading lol....little did we noe...again....e last shall b first and e first last LOL!!!! hahaha =p

great service, great presence of God, great preaching.....really had fun and enjoyed my time there. =) towards e end..man we sang e fellowship song...it was sooooo nice :) and the "JUMPIN TO THE JAM" rap....lol

learnt a few dance moves earlier on too...lol. but yesterdae's one was harder! hahaha... well. i had a great time this week! weekend services coming!!!!! yea...so excited.....hehe...
