Im gonna do something different. Im going to dedicate this post to a friend of mine who's going through a rough time.
I saw you yesterday serving. I saw something that moved my heart, yet something that pain-ed my heart as well. Even though it was just for 3 seconds just to say hi, how are you. The smile in your face was relieving. No matter how short it was.
As a friend, sometimes I feel there's only this much I can do. Deep down i long for the day, ull pick urself up again, for the day you can praise and worship God with all your heart, soul and strength. The days you would make fun of me together with ur click.
I want you to know..God will say to you..
"My daughter, you have been faithful. I am there when you are happy. I am there when you are down. In those times you would hide yourself in your room in tears, those times when you thought no one was there, those times when you feel where is everyone. I see them all.
Those times when you would serve Me, even though your day was rough. Your sacrifice of praise, your sacrifice of worship has touched My heart. What you are going through, will be an experience, but it will change your life. I will take you deeper, I will raise you up, I will pick you up when you are down.
Dont look back, dont look down, lift up your eyes and see the harvest. I just want to let you know that you mean everything to Me. I gave My life for you, and it pains Me to see you in tears. But this is not the end, this is just the beginning..of greater things to come.
Do not despise the days of small beginnings but seek My face and I will come like a mighty river. I will come like a rushing wind. Indeed, no eye has seen..no hear has heard, nor mind conceived, the things which I have prepared..for those who love Me" says the Lord.
Dear friend, you are never alone. and you will never be. They always say, what goes up must come down. but through the years, God has revealed to me that what goes down must come up!
Our dark moments are called valleys for a reason. a valley has 2 raised surfaces. and only ONE lower surface. It is the shape of a "V". the steeper u fall, the faster u fall..dont give up. u will come to a point of momentum, a point of fulcrum..and when that time comes..u will shoot up like a star in the sky.
you will see the hand of God move like never before. you will begin to do things that even you will be amazed. you will stand in awe..with a gaping mouth..because your time will come. there are times when others remain down, but u chose to stand up.
dont worry. these dark periods of your life is only temporary. because u have the light of Christ..every darkness, every sickness, every distress, every sorrow, every pain..will be DRIVEN OUT.
Ps kong once said, u may be poor today, but u follow Jesus ull not be poor all ur life. I just wanna encourage you that u may be sad today, but u stick with Jesus, ull not stay sad all your life :))
