first of all, yeah i managed to get this song! wahaha...lols. i used SDP to record e delirious video (CHC) into wmv format (6xxMB!), then using a video-audio converter i got the audio part of the video, after that i used MixCraft to crop e song and edited it abit...yea...hahas. =)

SERMON NOTES
-Col 2:18-19
-Everything comes from the Head.
-The body must follow the direction that the Head is facing. -> The church as a body have to follow Christ, the Head.
-Jhn 15:4
-The Head is the source of vision, the source of hearing, the source of confession, of manifestations and the miraculous, etc -> therefore the body has to be connected to e Head in order to function e way its meant to.
-The moment the body is disconnected from the Head, it becomes limited.
-Never blame the problem on the unreached/harvest for not making e right decision, the problem is not with e harvest, e problem is with e labourers!
-The attitude of the labourers must change..the harvest is there, but e labourers are few!
-Jhn 4:15 -> "pray the Lord of e harvest to send out LABOURERS..." -> not the harvest, but LABOURERS!
3 AREAS TO LIFT UP YOUR EYES FROM:
1) We have to lift up our eyes from OURSELVES.
-dont be inward-looking, always 'i', 'me', and 'myself'...its not about you its about God!
-its not about what you think, its about what God thinks!
-its not about what you feel, its about what God feels!
-its not about what you THINK is good, its about what God SAYS is RIGHT!
-if you want to be touched by God, then go touch someone else.
-out of our belly will flow rivers of living water. -> there's GOT TO BE a FLOW!
-when we were saved we have a portion of 'in-flow', now its our responsiblity to ensure that there is an 'outflow' so that more can flow into our lives!
2) We have to life up our eyes from being CAST-DOWN.
-have an 'up'-spirit, a positive attitude
-its not about how many times you fail, but its about how many times you rise each time you fail. its about being obedient and doing your best and letting God do the rest!
-be a possibility-thinker! and not an impossiblity-thinker!
-fear holds you back, but faith presses you on
-fear discourages, but faith encourages
-fear despises, but faith loves
-fear sees the problems, but faith sees the solutions
-be someone whom people will rather hang out with!
3) We have to lift up our eyes in the way we LOOK AT PEOPLE.
-dont judge others just because they are different!
-never look down on your own personality...each personality is unique in reaching out to unique and different kinds of people.
-have 'harvest-eyes'!
-we are CALLED to be witnesses, not ust full-time staff, pastors or leaders, but ALL of us
play a part in God's ultimate plan for mankind.
-a witness is just someone who gives a record or a testimony of what he/she has seen/heard.
-Jhn 1:35-42, 43-45, acts 1:8
3 REASONS/WAYS WE CAN BE EFFECTIVE:
1) God has CALLED you to be a WITNESS.
-the moment you are saved, you have a high calling. -> God may take you through the valleys
and dark moments to stretch and strengthen your faith, but God always shows Himself strong, thus when we see the power of God at work, we can be more effective witnesses!
2) God's POWER is available.
-when u are saved, u receive authority. but when you are baptised in e HS, u receive the dunamis power of God.
-it is something supernatural -> you dont need to be a pastor to preach, or a healing evangelist to heal...all we need is obedience and faith to believe the impossible!
-We need love and COMPASSION to move in the gifts of e supernatural.
-when God calls, He empowers!
3) We need to STEP OUT in FAITH.
-faith works through LOVE. -> if you can preach, if u can prophesy, but have no love, you are nothing!
-dont say you dont have the courage, real courage comes with real PASSION!
-fear holds you back, but faith presses you on
-fear discourages, but faith encourages
-fear despises, but faith loves
-fear sees the problems, but faith sees the solutions
-Heb 11:8-16, eph 4:11-16, 1 cor 12:13-14
-Whatever God speaks, it will come to pass. -> To us its the future, but to God, its HISTORY.
-God is the beginning and He has been to the end. He's the alpha and the omega!
-Everything He speaks to your life, its has already been fulfilled in His eyes.
-We just need to step out in faith!
-you will never go anywhere when all you do is sit around the premises
waiting for the promises!
-The live of Jesus, His entire physical representation of His body, will be the life of the church!
-Just as Jesus used His hands to heal the sick, to deliver the oppressed, to heal e needy and
be a blessing to others...THE CHURCH, as His BODY/INSTRUMENT/MANIFESTATION OF JESUS ON EARTH, must be doing the same!
-Just as Jesus's body was crucified, the church one day will face persecutions, trials and tribulations and be seen as if it were almost dead.
-But just as Jesus' body resurrected from the dead, the church in the end times, will rise up
and take the world for Jesus Christ! =)
THOUGHTS
after svc a hybrid of E110, W390 and E406 gathered at the food court to makan. hahas, it was really really hungry at tt point in time, cus i din have my lunch. hahas
btw, in e morning i was at bao's hse having guitar lessons, cus sunday he couldnt make it.
played TOCA3 (cant rem if tts e correct name for it), 7 GIG..lol i was like...waaaaa...haha. but not bad, its a pretty realistic racing simulation that features f1 racing, grand tour, etc. from formula-1s, to racing cars to monster trucks, etc. super realistic terrain and physics.
as usual my side mirrors were always the first to fly off..LOL! after awhile rhonda came to have her lesson too. and she's learning really fast. come to think of it, sooner or later me and bao will have to go for our NS..so who will take our place? hahas. *hint hint..lols
and so back to our fellowship after svc..:D
we were talking about hades, sheol and hell, and Jesus's descend to hell for 3 days after his crucifixion. then bao was like..."shio", "shio"...haha ('hot' in hokkien, supposedly he meant Sheol)...hahahas. we had many great conversations and stuff..about the first heaven, 2nd
heaven and third heaven, fall of lucifer, etc...man, i cant wait for AFV..lol and it makes me
even more excited!
i wanna go to bible school! lols. and the Isreal Tour 2006 is $4000!!!! woooooot! *sob..lol
we'll see after i complete my NS..hehe...^_^
then after awhile, we decided to play the number game lol. and david was the 'champion' lols. huixin oso...haha...the loser was supposed to makan the pig intestines and we tried our best
to eat up all the tao-pok so leave the intestines for huixin, hahas cus she koped e taopok instead of the intestines when she tio..haaa
of course i tio twice...but i tink david tio like 5 times..hahaa....really got to chat with him more yesterday during fellowship and in e train..hes a really nice guy to hang out with. and hes a 'lee' as well...muahaha! yeah man! hahas x) he plays e saxophone, a bit of piano and hes interested
in guitar..*hint hint..haha.
well..lets see what the cg is gonna plan this wk and next wk for easter and post-easter..:D so far
e110 is planning a chill-out at Settlers' Cafe at HV...
