Sound Ministry (In-Training)....great!

service with Sy Rogers was great, farnie guy. talked abt sexuality and our 'inner world'. indeed i enjoyed all his jokes, and his feminine photo ;) cool, its so amazing how God can turn things around foR those who love Him =) one thing he said that really went into my heart and melted it, "you dun have to be perfect for God to love you; God rather have you in all ur weaknesses/brokenness/imperfection than not to have u at all" :D

today's my first day in sound ministry!....yea....it was great. despite having to go back to church frm 7-10pm, i enjoyed myself and todae was great n indeed memorable. meetin new frens, knowing mario who stays in blk 663B and me 665A.....lol and a bro frm CHINA, joshua, many many other interesting ppl...;)

e sista who coordinated e games was peishan frm NP too, hee :D 3rd yr....glad to noe so many ppl =) we learnt e ministry statement and played a few games...and an icebreaker to get to noe e ppl, ;) we had four groups of five, tt means 20 ppl in all. hee...icebreakers included arranging ourselves in name, address, etc. it was fun!

First game - Walkie messaging

basically each team had one representative to go onto e stage and stand behind e whiteboard with a walkie, while e rest of our teammates were on e floor with a piece of paper. i was one of those behind e whiteboard and we were supposed to use e walkie and send a message to our teammates and they're supposed to write em down :)

got this funny incident, one of e message was "i am a great person". it was supposed 2b a private channel, but little did we noe tt it was occupied by some other ministry...haha

so one of us sent "i am a great person", expecting our teammates to respond "roger". but out of e blue someone else frm another ministry, i tink children's church reply sth like "ya....great person" or sth like tt.....haha, we all tio stun sia...haha :P mine was "im gonna b a great soundcrew"...haha....got other ppl reply oso...lols so malu....XD

Second game - Walkie pictionary

we switched members and now we are supposed to draw according to e way e ppl 'backstage' descibed, of course thru e walkie...:D it was not too bad, most of us got it right....hee :D

Last game - scavenger hunt (3 lifelines via walkie)

this was e most fun and e most farnie oso...haha. we learnt abt e FOH (front-of-house), FOH EQ RM, chiller rm, dimmer rm, FB (foldback-e console beside e stage), sound storerm at B3 nursery, FFC (fire command ctr, near e guys toilet) and MCA rm (if im nt wrong, e one at e gals toilet, oops....mus go revise liaoz...hahaha) and so much more...

we were supposed to collect stars around each station. we were near e FFC room ( a high security room with all e keys and servers, main operations in e church bldg) and it was a high security room and we were not supposed to go in. but my team jus went in...and e guys there were like stunned. so malu....haha, they jus gave us e exact location of e star which was outside e door...lol

shortly after, a radio message was sent "FFC here, we jus got raided by one of your teams..." lol....so paiseh.....XD

e B3 quest was e hardest....e entire stairway was literally dark and it was so eerie, esp with e ppl in e main audi playin some spooky music tts used for e easter service this comin wk a SIS. we couldnt find e light switch sia....wahahaha...and e door seemed so far away...haha. our team came in 3rd....lols

nonetheless, i had a great time...thanks sound ministry and thank you God! =)
